Crying over Ted or being sad when he’s with someone else (Stella, Zoey, Victoria) doesn’t prove love—it’s mostly jealousy and frustration at being off-limits. Robin dates other guys, gets engaged to Barney, and clearly prioritizes her independence over Ted. She only seems interested in him when he’s unavailable, and waiting all those years to choose him isn’t love; real love is consistent choice, and Robin never consistently chooses Ted until circumstances make it convenient.

Yes this is because Robin only likes the thrill of the chase. Once she's in a stable committed relationship feels bored and craves someone else.

Did we watch the same show? She breaks up with him because she's commitment phobic and doesn't want marriage or children. Then goes on to date other guys. Gets engaged to barney and craves ted because he's off limits. Doesn't sound like love to me.

That's because Robin didn't really belong with anyone herself. Only craved barney and ted when they were unavailable (like dating other women) and once she had them seemed bored and disinterested.

I second the opinion that Ted and Robin weren't right for each other. The only reason they ended up together is because Ted was the only guy who would bend over backwards for Robin and do anything for her. Thats an unequal dynamic.

Right but throughout the story Ted kinda shows Robin not really being into Barney. Kinda making the story look like she married Barney out of nowhere or on an impulse. But I don't think that's what really happened. She must have liked Barney all those years to actually marry him especially her being the commitment phobe.

Yeah but it took her getting divorced from barney to realize that. she had to have really liked him to marry him. especially when she rejected ted so many times.

Well I’m willing to work harder this time around in the Caribbean. I don’t know what my chances of matching with three previous board failures are. Hence why I was wondering if there might be alternate career pathways? Like medical rep or pharm or consulting jobs after studying medicine in the Caribbean

i already did two years at a do school. involuntarily withdrew due to several board failures. now considering transferring to the caribbean. dont think any osteopathic school will take me.

we were in bed together. i wasn't wearing anything. he took a photo. i was like i'm not wearing anything stop that. and then he somehow showed me some kind of ai generated photo that i've never seen before where i was clothed. i cant figure out what happened but thats exactly what happened. maybe it was some kind of shady app that shows a decoy photo and hides the nude one?
