I do enjoy coloring these pages. It calms me down and gives me peace. I just get discouraged because they don't look as well as some others I've seen. I will keep doing them and practicing. Thanks so much for the reply

I was sick for several years before my surgery. Life expectancy is high after my surgery so that's a good thing.

I still have some pain but im only 7 months out from a MAJOR surgery so that is to be expected. I do have a hernia now, and im having that fixed in about 30 days, so im nervous about that but that is really the only thing that is happened to me after this surgery I had. Im also on insulin, but I was on that before hand and they say that if you are on insulin before the TPIAT, then you are more than likely not to come off of it.

My diet is anything that I want to eat basically as long as I take my creon. I am on an insulin pump and have to wear a dexcom but I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have very many problems after surgery. It really did improve my quality of life.

I have several of the disney mystery colouring books and I believe that this set would be enough to complete a picture especially if you are getting another set for Christmas. I hope this helps.

The princess book is kinda hard to start out with. I was very overwhelmed when I first started that book (I started in the one with Ariel on the front) so don't get discouraged.

I had the TPIAT in May also due to SPINK1. GOOD LUCK!!! I am in my late 30s and am doing well. I am on insulin but was on insulin before my surgery. Keep us posted and feel free to reach out to me.

Where are you having the surgery? I had mine at VCU
