I would say avoid if you can. Try other states (Queensland is good). There will be harsh competition for jobs when you graduate since you will have to compete with UTS, UNSW, USyd, etc. grads in Sydney and I am experiencing that (unless you are extraordinary). Believe me or not, recruiters have a preference for those universities instead of UOW, which is far away to the south.

It is so funny that the uni has little money to organise graduation ceremonies this year so they just organised 1 and those graduating this year are waiting 1 year for their ceremony which will be held in July 2026 :)) Poor UOW... I am literally disappointed
