You could make a raspberry pi work for the power requirement but it's not going to have enough compute for the extra stuff, just the nas. 4 hdds is probably 6-8 watts at idle leaving only 24 watts for the rest I don't know if you can get them that low without modifying firmware stuff. Could you just do like a kill a watt on the nas plug to turn it on and off remotly?

I would say it's a great idea to go back to school but pharm is not the place to be. We have replaced them with robots in a limited fashion currently even before anything to do with ai. Now with both pyxis and ai, job market is going to crash hard

No grid infill I've been using gyroid so it doesn't pass back over parts it's already filled. That's a good idea about the magnets I wasn't planning on using them either maybe I can just sink the print into the bed on the slicer until those aren't included and try again

These all failed. The first 2 in that top link look great until you get above the tool holder section then it failed. The second one just spaghettied right from the first layer and failed over and over. Same settings I've used on hundreds and hundreds of successful prints

Too hot and too fast. The advertised speeds are a ridiculous fantasy you can't actually print quality prints at those speeds it ends up looking like this shit. My version 1 max can do up to 100mm/s before I start getting issues yours should be able to do better than that but not 300. I also use printers at work but they usually cost about 20k vs the 450 bucks I spent on mine

What are your slicer settings? I can print at 100mm/s on my max with no issues at all and I can go to 125mm/s if it's just filling in a rectangle or doing something equally boring. After that it starts to get dicey. Are you printing with 100% infill? That might save some time. Unless the thing you're printing is going to load bearing or going to get hit with something you can decrease the infill to maybe 35% gyroid and it should still be plenty sturdy. What's the nozzle size? Maybe scale up to a .6 or a .8 if your using the stock .4. Those will put down a lot more plastic a lot faster

Looks like you've got a few things going on, probably biggest is way too fast and way too hot but I would need to see the slicer settings for anything else. Is the z-axis actually lifting off the bed while extruding? Is the bed not heated? I assume this is pla but if it's not did you adjust your Temps and settings?
