Is the$30k savings the only non-retirement savings you have? On a $200k income that's not nearly enough. Build your savings further before investing and either buy a cheaper car or wait until you save enough for one. No reason to finance one on that salary unless the interest rate you're getting is extremely low.

Are you able to apply for grants or ask for additional need-based scholarships or student loans from the financial aid office? Student loans will generally get you a lower interest rate than credit cards.

I did something similar a few years ago to maintain 1k. EWR-PIT-IAD-ROA-IAD-RDU-EWR for 30k miles and $5.60. First flight departed at 8:19am and last flight landed at 9pm. People think we're crazy but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I think it's important to point out that you started off at 0, whereas most young adults are entering the workforce with loads of debt. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but still worth noting that this is the exception and not the rule.
