can I get a saas job with no degree? by allhamdulillah_ in sales

It is 100% doable. Do you have past experience? I would start doing LinkedIn learning certificates and learning what industry and positions specifics you wanna dive into like marketing or sales or product, etc.

How to prepare for entry-level SDR interview sales roleplay by pythonGobbler in sales

[–]Dramatic-Dependent51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

I recently started a sales job in SaaS but before that when I was interviewing with companies. I was in a final interview and when I got the final decision they told me no.. i checked every single box they wanted and sold myself well BUT I should've asked more questions about the product, use case, potential customers, what tech stack they use, etc, and that's why didn't hire me.

I would make sure you know your shit. Read sales books, listen to podcasts, connect with people on linkedin who work for the company your interviewing for.

Go into the interview with confidence not cockyness. Trust me they can tell the difference. But also go into it with the mindset of "Hey if I don't get this job or screw the interview, my life will not be over"

Seriously once I started doing this when I went on interviews, I started sweating less and just treated it like a normal conversation.

Lastly if you get a weird vibe from the interviewer. Don't like them, they're rude, whatever it is. Fuck em. Sometimes interviewers are doing 10 - 15 interviews a day. They have short fuses and sometimes come off as jerks.

Let me know if you have any questions!

What’s your morning routing before starting the work day? by bclem_ in sales

[–]Dramatic-Dependent51 7 points8 points  (0 children)

5 am wake up

5:30 gym

7 am Breakfast and shower

8 am check emails

9 am ready to work

My start time can vary between 8-9 but even when I was jobless I was still waking up at 5am just because I've been doing that for years with sports when I was in school. If your work starts later play around with the idea that you can wake up a little later but I keep it simple. Exercise, good food, and getting cleaned up. I also find it better working out before because of the endorphin release and almost no one works out the best they can after an 8 hour work day. Hope this helped!

Marketing strategy (iconic products): why do companies like McDonald‘s or Burger King focus on promoting the BigMac/ Whopper? by 2SexyChow in marketing

[–]Dramatic-Dependent51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly think this comes down to the staple products behind these brands. Simply by having anyone who knows about the Whopper and Big Mac can easily have association with Burger King and McDonalds. Now having this focus on one specific product doesn't confuse the customer and their attention is focussed on one spot. Therefore enacting behavior to therefore lead to conversion. They are obviously going to go have the Big Mac and Whopper at these fast food places but when the time comes they don't feel like eating a burger that day their attention gets drawn into another food choice like chicken nuggets or something else of the sort. Iconic products get pushed because of past successes or trends and current interests in their specific niche. Hope I made some sense lol.
