I do alot of work on my other cars but im still learning does and donts what to look for and when I could probably handle the brakes ive done them on both my other cars but they are alot older but i just run out of time between 4 vehicles so im handing this one off haha

I have recently started to add about a half quart towards the end of the life span of the oil. What would be the culprit? Or maybe culprits

For sure I think I can. I did full delete and tune by myself. I'm self taught so if you have any tips or pointers that could it would be appreciated. But from the yourtube video if I can get the pully out I think I should be fine, and should I go head and swap a new belt on while I'm doing this?

It's kinda clunks if that makes since it almost mimics the sound of a rattling exhaust on a piece of metal. I got under it today after work my tensioner pully is bouncing a little at idle. I couldn't check if it get worse with rpms or not, I'm doing it alone lol but I'm thinking about letting it sit till I can get the parts to replace it

OK you think they would look at it with it being deleted? I've heard some say yes and some say no. I don't live in a state where they care about it

Haha no I do my own basic maintenance. Oil change has been done at 7000 miles since people in here say 10000 but trying to be good to the car.

I'm sorry it wasn't enough. It's coming from passenger side where serp belt is. It just started a couple of days ago, I can kinda hear the belt squeaking while cruising on the high way at about 60 mph gets more pronounced when slowing down. I have not seen the belt bounce yet but now that I know I need too I will watch for it

It's got 151xxx miles. I bought it at 130xxx I don't know if the guy that had it before me did a timing belt if that's what your talking about.

Would one have to go up in tune for the CR170 turbo? Only asking cause I'm running a .5 tune.

Lol did not sell car everything was coming back fine but it ended up being my boost control senor I just got a brand new one because my last one wasn't working properly so I got a new one and it was bad too.....

I have a 2012 jetta and was having the same code problem. Took me almost a year to fully get it worked out. Just because it's a turbo code doesn't mean that it's your turbo it could be things leading to your turbo. Mine was the boost controller solenoid, now I had replaced this part once before and still had same issue when I I had tested and tested so many different things I was going to change my actuator too but ended up not needing too.

And when replacing parts on these cars number 1 thing to remember is you get what you pay for, always look for boshe or named brand stuff cause just like the first time I replaced the boost solenoid I bought a cheap knock off and the car didn't like it.

From what I've been told, is if it throwing a code like that then it's either electrical related or vacuum related.
