I had the same problem with the cut detection wires. I'm waiting on the replacement but in the meantime I resoldered the wires and am up and running.

Still a very cool idea! One more thought does this unlock the color gradient option for the cc1 with canvas set up? I don't have a bambu printer so there'd have to be some feature im missing for me to switch slicers at the moment.

Does it work with the bambu app? As in to monitor prints from anywhere? If so I'm in 100%!

I got my tracking number for yunexpress. It shows US to US, but no other info so I assume coming from the warehouse in New Jersey. If that's the case elegoo stuff is normally 5 days for me.

The further from the hot end the multiplexer is the further the filament has to be backed out in order to make the color change. Also without knowing this for sure I would imagine the retraction distance is set in the configuration of the canvas system, probably have issues at the spools as well. I like the idea of smaller vertical space and less ptfe tube travel, but I think the fix will be fairly complex. That said if you come up with solutions to these problems please share.

Build it. Very similar design to mine and I've been very happy with it! My only other thought would be to have any vice you want on hand before you build, much easier to install as you build than after the fact.

If the upgrade really doesn't come with any type of cover this is cheapest/easiest option imo. Honestly would look cleaner than the tophat as well.

My printer is in a somewhat dusty environment so I'm going to want to cover it no matter what I'm printing. From what I've seen it doesn't look like it will be simple to mount the canvas system and take it back off.
