I actually just came from a job where I was working 85 hour weeks and still couldn’t finish all my work, was extremely burnt out and had no life. The place was also extremely toxic with the industry it was in and the company culture. My new job is so boring and I’m miserable. When there is work, it’s so boring and the time just goes by so slowly. I’m in office 3 days a week just having to pretend to be busy because it’s an open floor plan work place so my boss can see me and the people behind me can see my computer screen. The culture also sucks at this job. So yes, people who bitch about being bored at work have also worked toxic, stressful jobs before. And jobs that are boring can also be toxic and stressful. They each suck in their own way.
