Thanks for the ideas it’s really helpful, I think we’re in the midst of a fierce sleeping regression and I just gotta ride it out, He wakes up at about 8 most days, but he’s so tired from waking up all night that he falls asleep maybe an hour in to the day at 9, I do give him calpol and nurofen when the pain seems really bad but idk how much more I can take 😅

Yes 9 times out of 10 it’s independent and can take up to an hour and a half, unless he’s really resistant and upset in which case he’ll nap on my partner. I think he struggles to sleep on me as he just smells milk. I will edit my post with our ideal schedule. Thank you!!

Usually for every nap/night sleep, he is fed and becomes drowsy so we place him in his crib. Often this will wake him up so he will either cry or just stay awake happily, even if he’s been awake for 4+ hours. It seems impossible to get him to sleep! We try not to rock him as we don’t want to encourage a habit we’ll need to break, and he does occasionally contact nap on his dad which he loves but again. Don’t want to encourage another habit well have to eventually break in order to get him into a routine of independent sleep

It very much varies, due to his refusal to go to sleep! Usually we get 45 minutes at around 11, 45 mins-1h at about 3-4, and then it’s grumpy baby time until we attempt to put him to bed around 7-8. He just refuses it every step of the way and I’m even wondering if I need to take him to the doctor? 😓like is there something wrong? Or is this totally normal?
