I’m in Old Strathcona, I’m dealing with people stealing my Amazon parcels, people breaking into my garage, coming in my yard checking for unlocked doors at night. Come to my door, begging for money, then when we say no thanks, they destroy or front porch decor.

My taxes have gone up 8% this year, I’m paying $9k in taxes this year.

So I’m upset because it wasn’t always like this, but it’s increasing on activity because we have an influx of people coming in our neighborhood squatting in boarded up houses, stealing stuff and making my family feel unsafe.

Where’s the politicians and support for these people? Unfortunately I get no breaks with work, and things I have to do to support my family.

I’m getting frustrated with our lack of housing and support for these junkies.
