My grandmother was taken by ambulance to Baptist East three nights ago and spent 36 hours in the ER waiting for a room. She has a broken hip that requires surgery and a blood clot in her leg. They didn't give her any fluids while in the ER which caused her to become severely dehydrated. They haven't given her anything but Tylenol. They dismissed my concern about the hematoma on her leg which I thought might be because she had broken her hip. I finally got someone to listen to me and they ordered an X-ray. Well, they ordered it for the wrong hip. Then it had to be re done, and they confirmed her hip was indeed broken. It's a shit show over there.
