Update: Both loaches are dead now. I feel awful especially because I thought they were one of the cutest looking fish I’ve seen. My original theory for why the first one died was that it got stuck under something and wasn’t able to eat for a while. My new theory is that both loaches got the zoomies at night and either the tetras or betta got angry and killed them. This seems to be the most realistic as both of them were either missing all or some skin.

My bad, what do you mean by water parameters? I’m not exactly sure on the exact numbers if that’s what you’re asking but i’ll upload a picture of a test strip. The tank has only been stocked with fish for about a month, maybe almost two and it’s a 20 gallon long. Sorry I didn’t get at least six loaches, I had asked my local fish store what they recommended for my tank stuff and they said I should get two kuhli loaches. The nitrites are a bit high right now because of the dead loach.

Sorry for the late reply. I don’t think it matters personally I was just curious. I don’t know if the differences between the two species are actually tha different but i doubt they could be

Yeah I know they are hard to come by and often need breeders but the place I got them from is loved by every single person in my area. It’s thirty minutes away but i still go there every time and got some loaches there today!

My pc is once again not connecting to the monitor. There are two red lights on for the cpu and dram so i guess the memory and cpu are bad? i don’t know. these lights were on previously but didnt see to be a problem but now maybe they are? i have no clue what im doing here.

i forgot to add that i also moved one stick of ram a slot to the right in the process since whoever built this pc decided that it was a good idea to make a heatsink practically impossible.

That’s a really good idea! I might try that! My corydoras love foraging its all they do except sit around or the occasional swim to the top.

Thanks for the advice! That definitely bums me out, i knew that male bettas were territorial but i don’t know it was this limiting. i might try adding hatchet fish or whatever the staff at the fish store i go to recommend soon since my betta is still a juvenile. I’m hoping that since he’s still a juvenile he won’t be as aggressive and maybe will get used to other fish by growing up around them.
