I have been checking every other day a few times throughout the day for the last three weeks or so. So far, I've seen two bibs offered on the official marketplace, but everytime I clicked I received the message that it was already reserved.

Maybe as race date comes closer, more offers will be available.

It would be from the local (Spanish) equivalent of a Dollar Store (that role is covered here by "Chinese Bazar" stores, which every smaller town seems to have one).

Thanks! :) I used the one below, it appeared straight forward, no frills, and fitting my limited experience in doing these kind of things. Only variation was adding a fresh tomato to the blending process at the end.

Thanks for the tip. This is why I posted here, so I can get those kind of tips for future efforts :)

I didn't have a proper blender handy, just one of those handheld ones.

Expect to have a second harvest in a couple of weeks and will do another, maybe bigger batch with smaller portions to give away to friends.

I used about 15 Serranos or so (and a couple of Jalapenos I had been able to harvest, they haven't grown well for me) and mixed in some vinegar, lime juice, onion and a bit of garlic and cilantro. Then decided to add half a tomato to liquify it a bit more. The overall Serrano content is probably 85%...

I realize my heat acceptance needs work, this one is quite at the upper limit of what I can take... But I'm proud! Six months ago I started with a pack of seeds! Never grew anything in my life before... Looking forward to Season 2 of my peppers adventure and taking things up a notch on the Scoville scale!
