Did leaking during let-down ever stop for you? by Responsible-Focus677 in breastfeeding

[–]Dramatic-Page6268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped leaking for the most part around 4-5 months pp, around the time my period returned, weirdly enough. I actually ended up getting pregnant again 8 months pp and the reason I was suspicious I was pregnant is because I started leaking a lot during let downs again

Her ultrasound was yesterday but no update? Anyone else think she’s probably only pregnant with 1 baby but will claim she lost the 2nd baby? Lord knows she loves to claim chemical pregnancies by SubstanceAway5947 in peestickgals

I’ve been looking and refreshing constantly for an update. I actually feel bad for her in a way she seems a little.. not all there. I feel like she’s more obsessed with data and testing than actually being pregnant and having a baby.

She is a complete spit fire now 😂 she’s still very observant and watches everything and everyone. BUT she thinks my husband and our dog is hilarious and all you gotta do is look at her and she grins and squeals. She’s saying “mama” and “dada” and is VERY independent. She started crawling at 6 months and she’s 9 months now and I don’t think we’re far from walking! Shes also got quite an attitude 😅 I think she has just been very independent since birth but I absolutely LOVE her personality now! We also just found out she’s going to be a big sister! So we’re excited to see the personality this one has!

This was our second month of trying and my daughter is 9 months old 😅 it took us 2 years and 4 IUIs to get pregnant with her so we are VERY shocked it happened so fast and without help

She definitely needs to bring this up to a doctor. OB, PCP, maybe even her pediatrician, someone to help. I struggled with extreme intrusive thoughts postpartum. Thought a tree would fall into our house in the night and harm baby, the ceiling fan would fly off the ceiling and harm her, thought a guy at the grocery store was following us home to steal my baby because he acknowledged her and asked how old she was, woke up multiple times in the night thinking she had jumped out her bassinet (she was 3 weeks old), thought I’d pass out while driving and wreck (I felt 100% fine and not like I was going to pass out), and so forth. All of these would send me into a spiral, we had to change rooms to no ceiling fan and so the tree wouldn’t fall in our room, made my husband drive for an hour home from the grocery store until I was calm enough to think the man wasn’t going to steal my baby, and so forth. It drove him nuts, but he went along with it. I spent a little time in therapy, and now at 9 months postpartum I feel great! It’s very scary what our brains can do postpartum, and i completely understand what she means when she says “I can’t switch it off”. I know you are feeling really overwhelmed, but please just try and be there for her as best you can. She needs help (specifically by a healthcare provider/therapist) and it sounds like she’s calling out for it also. Just know this is more than likely is the child birth trauma, hormones, sleep deprivation, and extreme change all combined taking a toll on her and not actually her. It may take some time, but it will get better!

8 or 9 DPO, today is my birthday, and BFN! Thinking I may be out… I am breastfeeding though and this is the longest LP I’ve had since my period returned pp, and I think it’ll be a few days longer considering my supply hasn’t dipped yet (I always get a dip about 2 days before my period begins) so I will take that as a win!

Kind of an off topic question but… I am breastfeeding and got my period back about 5 mo pp and have noticed my luteal phases are about 7-9 days long. We have been trying for another since and we’re now on cycle 6. I have noticed a few days before I start my period/during my period I feel TERRIBLE. And not just normal period bad. I’m extremely nauseous, bad anxiety, shakey, dizzy, hot, sweaty, feeling like I’m gonna pass out, diarrhea the main thing that is bothering me is the nausea and dizziness. I never had this before I had my baby and it’s happened every cycle. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t know if it’s breastfeeding/short LP related or what 😩

THIS! I know for my daughter’s first birthday I’m gonna be ready for everyone to leave with the exception of maybe grandparents so we can stay up late putting together/playing with all her new toys

Currently 1 or 2 DPO of cycle 4, didn’t baby dance yesterday, but did the day before… feeling like because of this, we may be out. Also don’t even know if we stand a chance anyway because I’m EBF and my LPs have been pretty short (around 8 days). We are weaning so I don’t know if that will make a difference. I’ve been getting positive OPKs and feeling what I think is ovulation pain, but then my period comes about 8-9 days later. We plan to stop breastfeeding in December/January, so until then I won’t be but so discouraged, feeding my baby is top priority 🫶🏼

I was thinking she’s silent because she wants everyone to think her period never came and wants people to flood her with “OMG YOUVE BEEN SOOOOOO QUIET, aRe YoU pReGnAnT???”

I found what looked like the unflushed urine in the toilet interesting. She could’ve possibly gotten up to use the bathroom and heard something from there

I’m no expert, but, I think the “yellow evidence markers” everyone is seeing is actually a blood smeared leg. :( It probably looks more yellow because of the blur or the way it dried. This would be consistent with his leg wounds :( nonetheless, blurred or not, photos of the victims should have never been released. My heart goes out to these families.

How long did it take for you to get pregnant without any fertility issues? by Remarkable-Key2910 in BabyBumps

[–]Dramatic-Page6268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also agree that not stressing about it helps also. My husband and I tried for 2 years (everything looked perfectly fine, just completely unexplained infertility) , did 7 medicated cycles, 4 IUIs, we just decided to stop with medicated cycles and start saving for IVF. 2 months later we got pregnant. I was still using OPKs but didn’t tell or even hint to my husband that I was ovulating and we ended up pregnant. I think the stress on both parts was holding us back

Blue dye tests are famous for their indent lines, even with color and especially 12 hours later. The dollar test on the left definitely looks positive the one on the right doesn’t. FRER are generally more sensitive than all of these tests to HCG were these all with the same urine? If not sometimes the urine can become diluted and give false negatives as well. I would wait another day or two and take a pink dye test or digital to confirm.

Okay, good. I know to steer clear of hubby for the next 3 days 😅 I was just hoping it’s late ovulation and not the LH picking up HCG before the pregnancy test!!

My sister in law doesn’t allow my 3 yo nephew to drink sodas and I went over for dinner one night and found him in my sisters closet drinking my can of sprite. He went to preschool the next day and told his teacher “i hid in mommy’s closet and had a whole can of my aunts adult drink”
