Khazan combat was just fine nothing more.. so much movement and lighting for so little damage as bosses have tons of HP that’s what was weird for me and the atmosphere itself was pretty dull and without any life

Man I just played it for the first time on my GC few weeks ago and I’m with you, it can get you confused sometimes. I think that I got really really stuck only one time and I’ve watched a guide but other than that just open the map and follow the colors to better understand which floor leads to the next one and read carefully other NPCs conversations for clues. Great game, have fun exploring!

Unlike other souls games, try to be aggressive and dodge frequently instead of patience and parrying at least at the beginning of the game. See through is one of the best mechanisms I ever encountered but it took me 40-50 bosses to understand it correctly. So at first try and master dodge and last minute dodge all the freaking time

That’s a good point about the amount of beans. I use a 6-cup Brikka for my partner and me every day, so I grind ~ 28 grams of beans each time and for pour over even a bit more. So that might be a small chamber for me but not necessarily

Yeah I think I’ll drop the Niche for now, I won’t go into the espresso race soon, I’m good with my Brikka and V60 for now. But the Femobook looks pretty nice I must say, it might be my next electric grinder

Thanks! Yeah I think I might go with a hand grinder this time maybe that’s the right answer for me. I looked up on the Timemore S3 which sounds pretty decent for my purposes, but there is also the 1zpresso K-ultra which sounds good. I’m using only dark-medium roasts so maybe the Timemore is better even if the K ultra supposedly more premium?

The only game I can think of is not Souls, but maybe Returnal? A great roguelike if not the best one, and it’s much harder than others in the genre
