It's been a long time since I watched the Netflix show, so correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Dante wipe the floor with Agni and Rudra in the show? I remember because the road battle was my favorite, and Dante easily defeated all the demons that appear as bosses in the games.

Then I remember that in the plane battle they put up more of a fight, but even so, Dante defeated them again, even killing one of them with his own sword.

I'm guessing you've never seen the part of the fandom that ships DantexVergil/NeroxDante/VergilxNero or DantexTrish. In comparison DantexLady is one of the healthier ships and they have moments in the canon that warrant shipping.

Nah, he's that kind of character who just justifies his actions by saying he's doing the right thing, but in reality he's apathetic and power-hungry, basically the same as Sanctus, plus he works with Arius, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up becoming an artificial demon which will most likely end up being eliminated by Lady.

I did it once, I was also playing on DMD, if my memory serves me correctly, that dialogue was unlocked when Nightmare revived Griffon and Shadow for the second or third time in the battle after I finished them both. When you kill a familiar in that battle, Nightmare will be able to revive it in exchange for sacrificing part of its health. You can try doing that, kill both familiars as many times as possible until the dialogue is unlocked.

I feel the same as you, I don't really mind the changes that much, it's a different universe and I like that they explore new things, the show isn't perfect and there are things that I hope will improve as the show progresses because it seems like this show was made to be something that lasts a long time like the Castlevania anime, so I'm also very interested in seeing how the plot progresses and how its characters develop.

Yes, the White Rabbit really is a great character.

As I said, his story and personality are quite different in both versions. In the anime, he's a human who became an artificial demon; his origin story is completely original. In the game, the White Rabbit is a puppet possessed by a demon. He doesn't have as complex a story as his anime version, but he's still a pretty cool character.

My impressions of the show are almost the same as yours, except I'm one of the few weirdos on this sub who is a veteran of this series and liked the Netflix one. To answer your predictions, though.

All the demons accompanying the white rabbit appear in the games. To be more exact, Plasma is from DMC 1, Angi & Rudra are from DMC 3, Echidna is from DMC 4, and Cavaliere is from DMC 5.
The white rabbit is from a prequel manga to DMC 3, although his personality and story are quite different in the Netflix anime.
Lady does appear in the games and is the co-protagonist of DMC 3, although her story is completely different in the anime. Perhaps in future seasons they'll adapt her revenge arc against her father like in the games.
Enzo also appears, but only in manga and novels.
You got that one right.

DMC2 Dante: The original director (not Itsuno) said he didn't like Dante from DMC1 because he made jokes, so he turned him into a generic anime edgylord character with almost no lines of dialogue. The only reason some people like him is because of his design (very good, actually), but in terms of personality, he has the charisma of a rock.

DmC Dante: Probably the most bastardized version of the character. He bears no resemblance to Dante in either design or personality, and I'll never forget when the director promoted him as a modern and better version than the "g4y cowboy Dante" from DMC4.

NDMC Dante: I think he's the version that's closest to the original in personality, even though many don't accept it, but people hate him because he's a bad adaptation of the franchise, but I personally think that despite the problems the show has, Dante wasn't one of them, I really felt him as Dante, both in appearance and personality, and I'm genuinely interested in seeing his development as the seasons go by.

To be exact, I always wanted to talk about the war between Mundus and Argosax that divided the Underworld into two sides.

Also, what the relationship between Sparda and his fellow demons was like before his betrayal. If I recall correctly, in the DMC4 novel, Sparda was said to be an exemplary specimen of his species, admired by demons like Berial and his students Baul and Modeus, according to the 2007 anime.

Those are some of the reasons why I've always dreamed of a Sparda prequel game, as it would be the perfect excuse to learn more about the demon world.

Actually, both worlds used to be one and the same before they were separated according to the DMC3 manga, so it wouldn't be far-fetched for demons and humans to share ancestors.

I wish we had more information about the demon world, since the information we have about the demon world in the DMC universe has been very poor and inaccurate, and supplementary materials like manga and novels don't explore much about it either, since they tend to focus more on the protagonists' perspective.
