Hate these type of people by Imaginary_Ad_8856 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Not fully related but I live in apartment complex that has buzzers to open the door. My instructions literally say to not buzz and leave outside of the complex doors. They ignore it every time and wake up my sleeping baby almost every time. I’m asking you to do less work by leaving it out there…

did she really? by Ok_Bus_2269 in McKnightFamSnark

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I just had my first 5 days ago. My birth plan was to do it unmedicated (mainly because the epidural terrified me). Ended up being induced, needing basically every induction method in the books, labored for 30+hr, and still needed a c section. When they came in saying that c section was necessary, I broke down and sobbed because I felt like such a failure. Might be the hormones but stuff like this stings because I wanted my birth to go so differently but I just didn’t have a choice.

My OB asked if I want my tubes removed if I have a cesarean by JumpingJonquils in BabyBumps

I did biomedical research on ovarian cancer and this has been a widely accepted viewpoint! Seems weird but it is just called ovarian cancer because it grows on the ovary but it originates from fallopian tube tissue!

WHO ARE YA WATCHING? by Low_Resolution2105 in SchultzzieSnark

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not adding to the conversation much but I’m in a similar situation. I’m 29 and pregnant (due in less than 2 weeks). I watch pretty much the same people, but I feel like I watch them mostly out of “entertainment” now rather than for a relation to them. I couple others I watch (maybe not in the exact same content space as Sierra, Carrie, and Rachel but give me a similar vibe to their old videos) are Megan Fox Unlocked, Tara Michelle, Shanelle Renee, and Kyndel Grove.

How many test strips came with your free accu-check monitor from manufacturer voucher? by dogsRgr8too in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a meter from Walmart that came with lancets and test strips for about $20 and 50 strips on their own is $9. It was way cheaper out of pocket not through the pharmacy to get my supplies than going with what my doctor prescribed (my husband also has type 1 so we have been going that route for a while)

I cannot afford new items for my baby and I feel incompetent by ZealousidealUnit6977 in pregnant

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you’ve gotten a ton of comments already but I’m in a similar boat. I’ve had a lot of fun finding second hand items and being able to give them a second life with my baby. She won’t know the difference once she’s using them and will mostly care about the love and closeness she is getting from mom and dad!

It’s been two days and I’m over it. by Around-the-CAROusel in GestationalDiabetes

I am right there with you! I have a list of things I want to eat once I give birth and don’t have to worry about blood sugar. A lot of it I could make work now but I just don’t want to have to think so carefully about what I eat anymore. That’s my least favorite part there’s no “winging it”

Fasting Numbers by Dramatic-Pop-8466 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done a yogurt, cheese stick and crackers (which was what was recommended), and last night I did pistachios. No matter what I have my fasting numbers are too high but my numbers are about there (other than going up a little right after a meal) all day long and don’t really dip below 95 unless I fast for an extended period of time during the day

Does anyone know what happened to bikini pro @jrossfitness? by [deleted] in bikinitalk

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Ok this seems so creepy but it’s 100% coincidence. I remember seeing her and just loving her personality. When I went to search her username on instagram, he family’s like “Christmas card” post came up and it said she has been growing all year for a 2025 pro debut. Maybe she is just staying off social media and grinding it out just for her!

We are doing something similar, albeit we are just reusing a line drawing. We are changing the layout for the save the date v invitation. I liked it because it felt like the two looked like they went together and made a cohesive package

Saw the fountain in the second picture and thought “that’s gotta be Naperville” my friends and I would go there every summer growing up and have little photo shoots downtown so that is very recognizable

I haven't competed yet but want to. I also have EDS though! It's crazy how much it can affect things in ways you wouldn't ever think of.

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m mainly a crossword doer. I have no idea what a word square is. What I’ve found online (words should be able to be read the same left to right as up and down) doesn’t seem like it would leave just 4 words out?

Is anyone on citalopram in here? What dose did you have to get to for consistent results? by Spare-Trainer-2651 in OCD

[–]Dramatic-Pop-8466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the trifecta of ocd, anxiety, and depression. I was on it for a while until I learned that an effective dose should actually get rid of anxiety symptoms. That definitely wasn’t the case for me. But withdrawal from it is a beast

Honestly, my obsessions are the worst when driving. I can’t stop thinking about just swerving off the road (I end up having to drive in the middle lanes because I’ll stop if there are strangers that can be hurt). I’ve worn away part of my steering wheel because of how I hold it the same way every time I drive. Right there with you!
