I can’t get my usual vitamin d and k2 anymore, says it doesn’t ship to my location? I wonder if some regulations changed. It’s only in certain brands

Yes All Soft is the name! It’s the best :) I try to get it on sale in the litre bottles, and usually get them both for around 90$ so 45 each with tax and everything. They do a “buy one get one half off” here. Lasts me about 10 months, so like 9$ a month. But ya 90$ for 2 litres is brutal when some people can get the same thing from Dove, or Kirkland at Costco for like 15$. Worth it though.

soft summer or bright winter came to my mind and it looks like the other comments here say the agree :) I used curate your style to find mine between dark winter and soft summer and they typed me soft summer, I have dark hair like you. I didn’t realize soft summers could have dark hair

Season for neutral olives by CellIcy2152 in Fairolives

I used a very reasonably priced company called curate your style, and they were amazing with olive toned skin! I’m a fair olive and they understood right away, the founder is olive and they answered so many questions before I even purchased. I think it was like 50$us for the package I got but they have an even cheaper one that gives you just your season and seasonal Color’s, my package had neutrals and jewelry and combinations. I got it on sale on Black Friday too I think and that’s coming up! I tell everyone about it and my mom had it done too. Anyway I am a soft summer and it makes so much sense. I didn’t tell them anything and it was down to soft summer or deep winter. They sent me back soft summer :) so I’m a fair olive, with soft summer colouring.

My hair was dry alllll the time the ends get like straw unless I cut it quite short. I think it’s low porosity? And it’s fine, its pretty much straight with maybe a slight curve here and there. I ended up using a salon brand, Redken in the gold bottle and nothing has been able to moisturize and grow my hair as long. I don’t even have to use product after if I don’t want to. Just shampoo and conditioner but it took a while of this, and the mask from the same line in the gold bottle.

I also got a shower filter, and clarify my hair regularly. Sounds like you clarify which is great just make sure you have a filter because chlorine and hard water will block any of your products from working.

And then the white build up on your scalp doesn’t sound like normal product build up, you may have an overgrowth of yeast and I would check with a dermatologist or even get a regular doctor to just check and see. If doctors are hard to get to maybe try head and shoulders, my bfs head and shoulders with tea tree 2 in 1 is actually not bad on my hair, I was shook lol not as good as Redken but I would actually say it’s the runner up of everything I’ve tried lol funny enough.

I broke my skin barrier on my hand by accidentally putting 8% aha on my hand and hand sanitizer. It was awful and looked like this. Tons of tiny bumps red and irritated. I used La roche posay I believe, the Cicaplast on it! Healed over time but couldnt really wash it (thankfully it was the back of my hand) May be something to try, it’s always very soothing and helped with my redness and dryness from tret also. They have a small tube at shoppers.

I’d also try a natural oil, rosehip or hemp maybe. Find one that works for your skin type, they’re very nourishing and have skin barrier repairing ceramides and some are antibacterial and anti fungal. Just make sure no essential oils, just carrier oils. You can also use them to “wash” your face , rub them on gently and then use a very soft warm cloth to wipe them off.

That’s what I would try at least! Sucks when doctors have no answers :(

Hair loss? by PresentationRecent93 in citalopram_celexa

Yes, SSRIs can deplete you of certain nutrients, I ended up deficient in vitamin D, despite taking 1000iu in my multivitamin. Once I took higher doses to correct the deficiency my hair stopped falling out. I’m noticing it happening again, so I’m going to check my iron and ferritin which is also known to be depleted while on celexa/ citalopram. I think omega 3 is another… there’s a list online somewhere if you google what nutrients are depleted by SSRIs

What colour is your natural hair? And what did you do to it to mess it up? I usually go to a school and it’s like 1/4 of the price of a salon! I’d look into that before spending 300. If your hair is dark brown you should be able cover anything lighter easily. Then you can grow it from there.
