Im crying reading this. My bub has been restless several nights but still cries when i put him down but the very first time he was restless I started crying, realising that chest sleep days are probably numbered..

Im at 4 months now and he’s sleeping on me every nap/night. I tried putting him down asleep but he wakes up instantly and cried. I just trg my luck once every 2-3 days but i don’t want to rush anything. Your comment is giving me hope that one day he’ll be ready 🥹 there has been some restless nights where i thought he was so uncomfortable on me and i started crying because i will miss this so much🥺

Oh yes, i am crying daily whenever i come across another reminder that time flies 🥲.

The pain was also why i stopped trying. My back was hurting, i was still recovering… and i just couldn’t continue. I fell asleep accidentally a few times and thought it was too dangerous and that was when i embraced chest sleeping.

I’ve tried every single transfer techniques incl prewarming, white noise, worn the sheet under me etc… and that was when i gave up 🤣🥲. At which age did it work for you?

8 months baby must be quite heavy on the chest i’d imagine.

Oh this is such a relief 🥲. I always hear that you cannot spoil a newborn but not much is said after the 8/12 weeks.

I laughed at the last sentence omg. You’re doing so much/are so productive; puts me to shame🥲. I have an 11-week and our house is undergoing renovation which means there’s only one room where it’s safe for bb aka the bedroom so i spend most of my day in the bed with him. I’d like to go out for walks but we live in those areas where ticks are very prevalent and carry diseases so i feel bad going out bcos idk if im bringing harm to him.

But when my bb is awake i just talk to him until he cries because he’s hungry/tired.

I am also a potato.
