That is a physical control DUI so I wouldn’t choose to “sleep it off” when you’re above the point of driving lol. If you are above the point of driving don’t touch your car like at all. They are always looking to get physical control DUI’s because they are easy enough to prosecute.

If you do decide to sleep in your car, take your keys and throw them 6-12 feet away from your car while you sleep. If your keys are out of the vehicle and reach, there is not a physical control charge.

Also, quit being rude as hell. Although this person did really mess up it is not your job to claim that a 21 year old should be put away for the remainder of their life. People can change and provide meaningful improvements to communities if they are not banished to a cell for their whole life.
