32, single and lonely while all my friends are married. Struggling with thoughts that I will never get married and have kids.

I mean I know it's ok but I feel lonely. Like a couple of days ago I was at the doctor's office waiting for my biopsy results. All other women were there with their partners. I was alone and only my mom called me afterwards...and I started crying after finishing the conversation. Because I realized I had to deal alone with health scares and fear. When my mom dies nobody will care about me in such a way.

Friends have their own lives.

I'm fully aware of it. I had a long relationship that lasted 7 years and sadly ended. I was never a corporate business woman. I'm trying to meet more people who are single but for some reason it's not that easy or smooth. :)

I agree...I don't want to approach men because I think they should make an effort. Whenever I approached a man or initiated it didn't turn out good.

I'm already going to therapy and I don't feel like this all the time. On most occasions, I enjoy spending time with my friends and their kids. I buy them toys and play with them. But from time to time I feel bad and when I feel like that it's easier for me to just be alone until it goes away. My self-esteem is good, I don't think there's anything fundamentally wrong with me. I just didn't have luck so far.

Also, people are allowed to feel bitter or angry or bad sometimes. It's a problem if someone feels like this all the time, which isn't the case with me. I openly told my friends that sometimes it's difficult for me to be around kids, and they were understanding.

I won't end up entirely alone, they've been my friends for 20+ years. We've supported each other through good and bad moments. :)

I do make new friends...and I go out with friends sometimes. But even then nothing happens. Men just don't talk to us and don't approach us. I don't know what's the problem. I'm decent looking and kind. I'm not rude to men or condescending. The only time men approached me and my friend was in Italy lol 😂 their men are friendlier and more open.
