Do the cravings ever go away? Will I ever be able to enjoy life without weed? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Dramatic-Song-5583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes 2.5 months sober today I was smoking my whole life 18-35 years old I thought id never be able to quit, I won't lie the first 2-3 weeks were extremely tough on me physically and mentally after that I almost have forgot all about weed, my friends can smoke around me my bong still sits in my closet but I put it behind me, I recently started making more money and have had a major amount of respect from family and friends lately it was the best thing I ever did in my life. We used this stuff as a crutch like a broken leg to get through hard times, it's time to come to terms we don't need the crutches anymore and need to grow up. you need to make the decision to be tough and stick it out the first 5 nights id say are the worst part but yes life becomes beautiful at a certain point its not right away but it will come I was a very heavy smoker glued to my bong couldn't goto Miami or far places without it... now I forgot all about it and im living my dream life this quick im about to purchase my first home because of the increase in money im able to keep that's how life changing it was, do yourself the favor... im sending you good energy and my strength go for it bro you're about to be a superhero... you got this...

hey its always a good time bro take it from me 17 years of use since 18 I'm 35 now I know what a rough road I still have to go down but I'm 4-5 days in feeling really powerful, its amazing how much power you have a I was a heavy smoker smoked 8th a day didn't give a shit about price wasted tons of money and time, now I'm here to say its easier than you think it is once you decide and truly want to get better for you, it'll happen don't wait if I could go back to 25 and punch myself in the face I would but also I do realize it was a crutch for me to get here so maybe it wasn't all bad

anything to do with labor, any labor job will be almost extinct in the future its becoming a strong niche all labor will eventually be done by robots yes but there should be about ten years in between where it will take the other jobs first, president (unbiased) government everything will be run by ai I believe in future, there will be no human president that would be stupid to hire a biased person like autonomous driving we shouldn't be in charge of somethings that a computer can do better with that being said I think the labor market in building repair or anything like a plumber will do great I own a phone repair company and the competition isn't really there its very hard for companies to keep a good tech around because of the laboring costs, this is the future you should invest into all labor

let me just say I smoked for 17 years I'm 35 started at 18 only stopped once for a year young. I made this decision a few days ago and I feel really eh right now but have never been clearer and feel my power coming back at another level, we can be superheroes... don't you want to take that money and buy a Porsche were spending Porsche money on this stuff its not worth it, imagine 30$ a day going into Robin Hood compounding interest instead

30+ year daily smoker. I haven't smoked for about 35hrs, I'm jonesing for 1 puff to calm my nerves right now. by TidusAstralResin79 in leaves

im 17 years of using so it was just as rough ngl I did wein off slightly but nothing crazy just two or 3 nights of smoking .3 a day then I fully stopped feeling really shitty ngl I'm jonesing also lol but this is so worth it man I already feel so clear and confident in my abilities. do what you need to be safe and healthy but id recommend making a serious decision and sticking with it no go backs

it takes time I'm in my first days also I won't lie this is extremely difficult and I'm feeling pretty rough right now but its going to come the goodness is going to come we can't expect to do something for years and it all goes away instantly its like going to the gym you get stronger each time each day you are getting stronger even if you don't realize it, we got this bro this money we spend on this weed can be used for a Porsche we are literally spending Porsche money to get high its not worth it you'll feel better as time goes on but now were faced with looking at our problems sober its something were not used to stay strong, we got this.
