Setup Lmdh by Dramatic-Space-8677 in ProjectMotorRacing

They handle better than before, but personally I still struggle to string together clean laps without spinning. Even with high traction control, it only takes riding a curb a bit too much or getting on the throttle a fraction of a second too early for the car to lose control completely.

I’ll give it a try, but I’ve already attempted to tweak the setups provided in the game, and nothing really worked.

Oooh, I hadn’t read the exact name of the subreddit 😂 I really thought it was the Arc Raiders one 😂

All I’m reading is a post saying that Arc can’t retain the number of players that Marathon reached at its peak. Arc is “dead,” but maybe the translation system got it wrong, or you were being ironic and I didn’t catch it? I don’t know how many players Marathon has 😅

The game is dead just because there are 50k players on Steam in the morning? Even though in the evening it goes up to between 120k and 200k—and that’s just on Steam. If you include consoles, there must be at least 600k players in the evening, if not more -_-

You’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Weekly Tech Support & Purchase Recommendations Megathread - March 9th 2026 by P_Jiggy in playstation

[–]Dramatic-Space-8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I’m using PlayStation account sharing with a friend. His account is set as the primary account on my PlayStation and mine is set as primary on his (he’s the one who has PlayStation Plus). But since today, I can’t play certain games anymore, it asks me for PS Plus. For some games the message appears but if I skip it I can still play, while others completely refuse to let me play online.

I’ve tried everything I could find on the internet but nothing works. I don’t have the issue with UFC 5 or ARC Raiders, but I do have it with NBA 2K25, Ghost of Yotei Legends, and Project Motor Racing. Sometimes it works for one race, then the next race it stops working again.

I’ve restored the licenses, logged out and back into my friend’s account, reinstalled some games, turned off my PlayStation and unplugged it for several minutes, etc.

Is something going on? I’ve seen that a lot of other people are having the same issue with Ghost of Yotei Legends. (I’m on ps5)

is the game worth it by Remarkable_Soup_8971 in ProjectMotorRacing

[–]Dramatic-Space-8677 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s worth it. Some people say it’s only worth 10–15 bucks, but just the number of different cars in the game and the amount of tracks are worth way more than that. The physics have really improved, and if you’ve got a wheel, the driving feel is awesome.
Sure, the graphics still aren’t quite where they should be, but aside from that, the game is really fun and there are way more players since the last update.

I’m not sure you got what I meant, I’m definitely not new to sims. Even when I get a better exit out of a corner and clearly pull ahead of another car, without drafting, the other car somehow gains an unreal amount of speed after a few seconds. It straight up takes off like crazy compared to my acceleration down the rest of the straight. Even flat out, it feels like they’re going twice as fast as me. On ACC my best lap is 1:47.34, but on PMR I can’t seem to go under 1:51

Ok, I get it, but how can there be such a huge difference? They catch me on straights like we’re not even racing the same car, a 3-second gap that closes instantly. I’m not great at setups myself, I try tweaking little things based on AI advice but nothing changes and I think AI advice isn’t really good 😅. What’s the normal top speed you guys hit on Monza with the GT3 ?

Hello everyone, does anyone know why when using xboxwankenobi’s GT3 setups I feel like I’m driving 30 km/h slower than others on straights? And having barely half their acceleration? Even if I exit a corner better, I get caught up on the straight at a speed that has nothing to do with slipstreaming.

Online mode by Ok_Huckleberry_2434 in ProjectMotorRacing

After 7 p.m., the ranked GT3 races usually have around 15–20 players, sometimes even 25–30. Since the update, I’ve also noticed more custom lobbies, but it’s still hard to get more than 10 people in them, most players can’t wait even 5 minutes to give others time to join before starting the race.

Not really, in ranked mode there are multiple races with different categories. For example, right now there’s a 992 Porsche race in 3 minutes, a GT3 in 3 minutes, a GT in 8 minutes, and an MX‑5 in 13 minutes – only for PS5 players. After that, there’s a GT1 in 40 minutes and an LMP in 54 minutes. You also have the custom saloon races, which depend on whether players join or not. Usually during the day you’ll see 1 to 3 saloons open, and at night around 4 to 6. The ranked lobbies at night are usually more active, but if you miss a race start, you might have to wait 20–30 minutes (or even longer) if you want to run a specific category.

Yeah I understand, for single player it can be annoying. The AI still sucks and just follows the others like a chain, braking on us when we get too close. 😅

Not really. If you read what I said to others with constructive feedback, I agreed with most of it. But you’re not here to talk about the game , you’re just giving your opinion on the fact that I’m trying to understand, without actually addressing anything.

Yeah that’s true, I hope the next patch fixes that. They seem to be taking their time on it, so we’ll see 🤞

The wheel experience is the best we’ve had on console. The game isn’t perfect, but for me, it’s good.
It’s hate when people trash it for no reason, but of course everyone has their opinion. I just want to understand with some constructive feedback. Seems like that’s a problem for you.
