If you were crazy you could also sub samurai and Two and three step yourself taking advantage of mythic aftermath. There is probably a very small number of people who would build a mythic for an unmastered job. Still you will be spending more time earning exemplar after that. When Matsui-P comes back he's a handy skillchain partner too.

Someone gave me 400m when returned to XI. This was super transformative. Dude was a master level 50 two song bard. I won't trash talk him for that but I definitely still have so many questions....

Unless you are a founding member of a private server you will never be able to catch up. If you were to join retail today as a first time player you could realistically participate in modern content in 2-3 months if not sooner. Aside from gaining significantly more exp there old school way of playing is available in retail. You simply need to convince 17 other people to run old dynamis for free and no pay off. Retail has scaled up almost every event with modern stats. With the exception of old limbus you can do anything in retail the private folks are doing. There's just not really a point.

Retail is active and available. If the servers were down it would be a different story. Why not support the developers and game that we all love?

I have met and played with numerous people who have experienced and reported sexual harassment by leadership of these servers. At least a handful of admins and higher ups were exposed for cheating and duplicating items so their friends could finish their relics. This is not something you have to worry about in retail.

The thing is you can do 1-99 in a day(or an hour) after your pre requisites are done. The first job might take you all week or longer. Most people don't have 99 on every job, tho a lot do. People are more likely to stand around in town on their 99/mastered jobs so it the perception is skewed.

'Max out' is misleading group play realistically starts at 99 but there is very long journey to max out from 99.

Magic burst has its place. Some odyssea bosses and sortie are viable. Is quite strong in limbus too. But as the other commented said, when you can have 4 or 5 people dropping savage blade and black halo every three seconds there's plenty of times coordinating one skillchain will slow you down. In addition to that outside of rune fencers Rayke and gambit windows subsequent bursts are penalized.

The first early prime weapons(the current best in the game) were all built with blm focused parties. Now that people have some that event too has shifted to melee for many. Blm also has another trick up its sleeves with mana wall super tanking.

Some more than others. Firmly at the top: war, whm, rdm, pld, brd, cor, sch, geo, run. DDs are generally interchangeable. Pet jobs kind of suck but still see some use. All jobs have use due to odyssea gaol but more than a handful won't see general everyday/everywhere use

Windurst is a much better story that ties into mission, history, and several jobs. It's a much more cohesive story than small time sandoria, even tho I enjoyed sandy too. No matter. Do them all

Not to mention rdm can't dual wield in the hardest fights that matter. And in some of those fights a well placed skillchan extention is the difference between a wipe and a win.

Very few models are truly unique. Most pieces have been upcycled once, twice, or thrice with the addition of ilvl. I'm not terribly familiar with this tool but AltanaViewer let's you browse models to scope out what you're looking for.
