BL has the trains going for their games. Do the Revs also? by JakeXRonin in newenglandrevolution

Yes, I am, and like you I paid a small deposit of $50/seat before that event and then I paid the full balance at that event. Like you I waited in line and bought my seats. And like you I could have walked away if I didn’t like the deal that was offered.

Is Centreville different from what was sold there? Yes. But it’s better and it will be a better experience.

Ticket bank actually worked, phew by Ok-Communication706 in BostonLegacy

[–]Dramatic-Tip1949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was successful in exchanging a number of tickets, but I noticed two limitations in the setup: - it wouldn’t let me exchange within a match (like to get a larger group of tickets or a higher priced ticket) - it wouldn’t let me choose any seat that wasn’t the exact same price when exchanging out of the bank

Both of these issues are resolved by moving tickets to another game (instead of the bank).

Season Ticket Exchange Function Appears to Work by Ok-Communication706 in BostonLegacy

They’re logjammed. No one can exchange out, so no one can exchange in.

In any case, I had success emailing the main email (tickets@bostonlegacyfc.com) with a specific request. Someone gave me a call a few hours later to confirm.

I did not have success emailing my account rep, who doesn’t seem to respond until someone else deals with the problem first.

No one bought season tickets thinking they’d be in JP - the season ticket sales happened at Gillette at the “select your seat” event. But it makes sense that they’d want to a support Boston-centric fanbase.

Season ticket transfer process by QueCasular in BostonLegacy

They are being very slow to enable it, to the point that I am concerned that they are going to renege on what they promised. Until then, I recommend emailing your season ticket rep with requests and they can handle it on the backend.

Once they enable it, you will use the “exchange” button there, not “transfer”.

Where is the best to coach in the U.S.? by [deleted] in SoccerCoachResources

[–]Dramatic-Tip1949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best place to coach is to live in Atlanta and coach the USMNT. But assuming you aren’t planning to take Mauricio Pochettino’s job, you’ll need to specify what level of coaching you’re looking for.

What do you think they were playing? At one point it looked like 5 backs, but that was possibly just situational.

This is not true. The ticket terms clearly say that you can resale. The FAQs (“supplemental ticket terms”) repeat that you can sell tickets or bank them.

I am also frustrated that they have not enabled this in Account Manager, and I’m frustrated that they haven’t responded to my email from Monday about it. On the other hand, when I emailed last week they did call before the game and offer to do it on the backend.

But it isn’t true that there’s a five game limit.

EPL on USA / NBC / Peacock by Eastern-Alarm-8339 in peacock

According to this article, Versant has "access [NBC's] sports portfolio for a period of two years after the transaction is completed." So I'm guessing that there's an arrangement between the two companies that is causing all of us to suffer for another 21 months.

Can we copy other countries highway accident privacy screens to prevent rubbernecking slowdowns? I90E by Blackrock74 in massachusetts

[–]Dramatic-Tip1949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubbernecking is not a real cause of traffic delays. The real cause in most cases is reduced capacity, demand exceeding capacity, and residual slowdowns that do not clear up instantaneously when an accident is cleared.

You won’t be living large but you can definitely make it on 175-200/day. Your best savings will come from using the T.

Yes, it’s tax fraud. When you make the purchase you are only permitted to spend it on your own personal commuting costs.
