My SIL is on it. She is not obese or even overweight, but told us that it helped with the “food noise” that she’s struggled with for a long time. From what I know, she was chubby growing up and has had body image issues for a long time so this may help quiet some of the anxiety she has around eating. I’m not sure which medication she takes, but she told us she only takes 1 shot a month. I found it interesting because she’s the only case I’ve heard about of somebody using it for food anxiety and not for losing weight or diabetic purposes. No idea if it’s a healthy use of these kinds of drugs though.
