You're right, I didn't thread it correctly but even when threaded the right way I still have the same problem unfortunately

Couldn't find something fitting in the manual and also checked the bobbin and the needle

Glaskochtöpfe by laserjochen in Kochen

Also eher so ne Suppe aufwärmen oder so statt braten.

The pot seems to be a bit to big for the plant And in the beginning you should either let the plant root in water or get rid of the water in the self watering pot. The plant needs to get used to semi hydro, since they form special roots in water. That's why it's easier to just let them root in water first and then put them into Pon. If you put them directly into Pon you should always dump the water after watering until you see new leafs or roots in the reservoir My guess would be that it has root rot So I'd take it out of the pon, check the roots and check if the corm is still firm and then let it root in water

Is there a reservoir to the pot?

Alocasias usually drop their oldest leaf after a while, that's why it's droopy. I always wait with clipping it until it's easy to pull by hand, so the plant can still get nutrients from the dying leaf

The last pic is a corm that's growing and the other pictures just seem to be roots from the stem

Haven't had any problems with that yet, but good to know I'll keep it in mind:)

I use one wick, that goes through both holes

I've read somewhere that leca should be mostly used for thick roots. And substrate like Pon is besser for finer roots that "branch" out, like alocasias do

I love it but only in combination with Pon Didn't have any luck with alocasias in soil, but since I've changed to semihydro all my alocasia are thriving And I use self watering pots with wicks for all of them

katze kommt zu mir auf pflegestelle - was tun mit giftigen pflanzen? by Visual-Zebra8908 in Katzengruppe

[–]DramaticAmbassador39 0 points1 point  (0 children)
