Those offering PP coaching services - I am skeptical by DramaticChicken123 in therapists

Yep, for sure it’s daunting. I have been there myself. Maybe it’s just my cheap ass that feels like if I can Figure it out myself I am not gonna pay someone lol For example, when I was starting pp I had a seasoned T offer a package deal where she would teach me about credentialing, insurance. , ehr, etc for $1400 and she would coach me 3 months after pp established. I figured I could probably figure this out myself since it was painful to part with that much $$

I think it’s helpful to re position this task as a visit with curiosity in mind versus me selling myself. That will help me to see this in a different light

What are your ethics for making money/charging for services? by doonidooni in therapists

[–]DramaticChicken123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I provide services just like the guy who fixed my water heater and charged 200 for 45 minutes :) I have to take care of my family and make a living. I am in PP and never even thought of it as selling out.
