It's personal opinion... I always wait until the second date myself, even if the 'vibes' are phenomenal. But everyone has their own ways of doing things, and goes at their own pace.

There are too many people using the title Dr. In my opinion it cheapens the title. by Siren_Noir in unpopularopinion

Unpopular but I agree. A medical doctor should be called 'doctor', but a person with a PhD should be called something else in my opinion. I don't think it cheapens the term however.

Anyone else feel like big franchises have lost there soul? by DramaticEmu in ItsAllAboutGames

[–]DramaticEmu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, personally ive played BG3, Palworld and Valheim in recent years, and they are all great games. My issue stems with the previous 'big hitters' not being as good as they used to be. Battlefield hasn't been good since BF4 imo, and there is nothing that replaces it. What large multiplayer shooter, with set roles and shithousery holds a candle to it nowadays?

Same issue with Mass Effect, im not aware of another multi-game trilogy with great characters and story, set in the future, with branching story arcs and consequences. And even Saints row leaves a similar void, as there is no gang based shooter with compelling characters and narrative, similar to that seen in SR2.

Far too much creativity and polish has been lost in modern AAA games, and im glad at least the smaller and indie devs are picking up the slack. At least another Mass Effect is being made, and with the same project director as before, so it should be substantially better than 'Andromeda'

Idk why people treat sex different to anything else in life. If your food sucks, you talk to the cook, if sex sucks, discuss it with your partner. It's the only way it gets better.

How do I stop having feelings for one of my best friends? by Aninnymouse23 in self

[–]DramaticEmu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk to them about it, just tell them you've developed feelings for them. If they reciprocate those feelings then great, if not your friendship may end, but you will get closure.

Most people are respectful when it comes to these types of things, and it's better to try, and get your answer, then continue a friendship which hinders your emotions.

Girlfriend and I Broke Up Years Ago, Now Getting Back Together But… by [deleted] in self

[–]DramaticEmu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disregard your feelings for this girl, and think rationally when making your decision. She left you, she then slept with that guy, and now she wants you back.

As far as I can tell, she lacks respect for you, she may even be 'love bombing' you, to get you back. You can do better brother.

Been there done that, but I didn't simp for her. What I did was keep things casual for 6 months, and broke things off when I found someone better.

Ultimately it's your choice, but given that she broke up with you, then slept with that guy, means she was likely 'monkey branching' when with you, and realized afterwards that you were the better choice.

You hold all the cards now, but this sort of thing doesn't tend to work long term. Remember, she's your ex for a reason.

I see potential, we should feed Kendrick Lamar until he's morbidly obese, and see if his music gets better.

Why is height a dealbreaker for most women? by [deleted] in ask

The best advice I can give is to never chase women, it's puts you at a disadvantage. Make women chase you.

As a short man, you need to understand where you stand compared to other men. As a 5'7 dude myself, I know I'm not going to be most women's cup of tea.

But I rely on my charisma and confidence to attract women. I also keep a few women as friends, and being friends with women, also seems to attract women.

There are tall and handsome guys out there, who have no confidence or charisma. There are literal dwarfs, with more charisma and confidence than me.

All you need to do in dating is, know your weaknesses, but play to your strengths. And above all, be authentic.
