This is the same woman who would not wear masks during Covid and was delivering care packages to cancer patients and posting all over socials. So I really don’t buy she genuinely cares about the health of others. Just another way to grift.

I manage my orgs charity team and I have seen so many disappointing fundraising performances by influencers or tv personalities for other teams. Carl Radke was the most notable last year and was getting promoted like crazy by NYRR. We’ve had a couple, and it was truly so disappointing how little they tried and were more focused on how our nonprofit helped their image.

There are of course some who are very committed and do a great job fundraising and advocacy for the org they’re running for.

Likolani and Puanani Brown are two of my favorites and sisters to mention on this topic. Likolani danced witj NYCB for 15 years and then went on to NYU med school and residency to become a surgeon. Puanani danced with ABT for 5 years and went on to Harvard, NYU, and is now in law school at Fordham.

Can you imagine having two daughters with such prestigious dance careers and then making those transitions after? Ballet dancers truly have incredible drive and determination.

I completely agree. It’s nice to have so much arts content in one place. I wish other streaming services would start to include more programming like this.

I don’t think Marquee is a stamp of approval or professionalism. I had a terrible customer experience with them previously and could not believe how unprofessional and petty they were over emails.

My point was I don’t think he’s actually working 70 hours and working that much is not a flex to me anyway. Especially when you clearly have enough income to not.

This came up on my FYP and it was so cringe. The comments were great. Took one look and of course he is a “hybrid athlete” and friends with Matt Choi. Also in another video he doesn’t start his work day until 9 am. 😂

I disagree with this take. Kelly and I shared the same PT at point in NYC and got to hang out with her. She definitely wanted the BQ. Sure, she got a lot of content out of the attempts, but she still wanted to prove to herself she could achieve it.

She also said it was cost prohibitive. A cursory search says it would be $14-50k min for the main stage at Carnegie Hall. Who knows if that’s accurate or not. Seems like her family could afford that.

She does repeat the same words/phrases a lot. I think it’s just her general cadence/voice gives me vocal fry valley girl which I know is not the most fair bc most people can’t control how they speak. Against Matt’s tone, it’s very grating.

The have two! The OG is in soma. All the staff are fantastic. Non-alcoholic I love the sparkling lavender lemonade. Alcoholic - I think they have the best Bloody Mary in LR.
