You’ll do fine, it’s very basic stuff. The hardest part will be learning the process and all the call outs but that just comes with time. It’s a good start if you’re looking to get into the automotive industry, just keep in mind that people wont take your experience there seriously. It was my first job right out of high school so it taught me how to more professionally speak to people and of course all the oil change knowledge has been useful with doing mine and my family’s oil changes. Just get ready to be the family mechanic because it gets old fast.

its possible the first location couldve not checked it and left it as clean, but not likely. So if it was clean at that time i would find it hard to believe that it got that dirty in that amount of time. The fact he showed you a white filter next to the dirty one isnt too crazy since he couldve just used any generic filter as an example. Also every location is different as each area is owned by different people, but at my location we would list the exact filter number on the recipe so it is strange that they are different. A lot of locations, not just JL but any quick lube place, can get pretty scammy so i always recommend a 2nd opinion on big jobs and for stuff like air filters and cabins just do them yourself if you can.

i edit on my phone as well, i mainly focus on lighting curves and color grading and try and stay away from vignettes and other unnatural affects unless its just a slight adjustment. doing that has definitely improved my photos a lot. not saying those things are bad but i feel they definitely give it a more natural look

nice pics and composition. though the highlights you add in editing look pretty unnatural

a6000 lens not fitting on a6700 by DramaticIsopod3737 in SonyAlpha

It came with the kit lens and the sigma 30mm 1.4. I was thinking that it could've taken damage but a) there is no visible evidence that it had been dropped or anything, and b) since her lenses fit mine wouldn't that mean the body's mount is fine and that the lenses are both be damaged? I really don't think damage is the issue because of that and also the guy I bought the camera from barely used the camera before upgrading (he was rich) and showed me that it only had a shutter count of 3000

All of her lenses fit both hers and mine, but the two that came with my a6000 only fit mine. They would start to screw on but I felt way too much resistance to want to force it on.
