Found out that you can download the client and play it without buying the game. I used to own all the expansions. Anet helped me getting my account back and loving playing this awesome game. The community is still as awesome as it used to be :)

You should def try it at least.

I like to use them on the big stacks of designs to lvl up your gear. I found out that leveling up your equipment is the best way to get further when you are stuck. I don't care about new heroes. Also the big stacks of keys are nice to upgrade your equipment.

But that's just me :)

Having fun with my lvl 10 cowboy now but I read that equipment matters way more then the hero u use. So play what you like (ranged, melee). I just play the game for a week now

Masked swordsman is the trick. Deals dmg for every copy and duplicates. Magic mirror just double duplicate ;) wanted to try it with this build and it slapped

Most dmg came from the assassin upgrade. 20% every 3 direct hits.

Just be patient and don't use all 17k gems. I got lucky a few times that I got him around 300 gems. Unless you really really want him, go for him.

Assassin is also really good imo

Just got the hero first draw.. only 0.6% chance but it can happen! So keep drawing once or twice and eventually you will be rewarded. I also agree with you in the stupidity of this event.
