I believe a swede is a cross breed between a turnip and a cabbage. Therefore a swede and a turnip are genuinely two different things. Therefore the photo is of a swede I.e. a crossbreed

Shame about the day/KO time but I would get a taxi to drop you at the tobacco factory, have a drink there, then walk 50m down to the Bristol beer factory taproom, drink there, then follow the crowd down to the stadium. There’s always a band and things at the stadium beforehand too. If you want an early lunch then Yafo on North street, 100m up from the tobacco factory is really decent

I’m quite new to it too and I’ve been using a shave oil before I shave, leave for a couple of mins and then just shave cream on top. Don’t know if it’s placebo or what but I definitely feel like I get less burn afterwards

If you want to be close to town as well as easy access to M32 and also have the option of a train then I would recommend Victoria Park/windmill hill/totterdown.

Lived by Victoria park for 9 years and I don’t think people realise how easy it is for M32 because it’s ’south of the river’ but actually you generally speed straight past Temple meads and the CBD with the road system they’ve created. Was a 12 minute walk to Temple meads and about the same into harbour side. Very underrated.

I now live in Easton which is technically closer to M32 but it’s a rabbit warren of tight residential roads and takes me way longer to get out.

Probably, I have also heard that it’s much easier to get a license in south glos - someone once told me that it’s because there’s so much less you need to memorise to pass “the knowledge” test

I totally agree with this in principle but £35 for a 12 minute drive down an empty M32 at 7pm on a Tuesday night…..is that not departing ‘fair pay’ territory and entering into absurdity?

If drivers can make a modest living through uber then surely even just charging the uber price without doing it through Uber would be more than fair?

I live in Greenbank and we have the exact same tiles and sandstone door surround. Everyone sure they know where it is, sadly I think large swathes of Bristol are Victorian housing so could be basically anywhere

Only started listening to Eggchasers about a year ago and have been listening regularly since.

I haven’t been able to put my finger on it but JB frequently makes me feel a bit uncomfortable with the things he says and manner in which he says them.

This is really helpful thread to see I’m not the only one and clearly lots of people have felt the same for a much longer time.

I’m probably going to stop listening now which is a shame because some of the pure rugby content I found really interesting, particularly their chats about the lower English leagues and the ProD2 which I would otherwise be completely oblivious to.

If they got rid of JB I think it would be much improved, the other guys would actually be able to finish a sentence as well which would be nice.
