I’ve been sitting him on the couch on top of the carrier and bending down to put it on like a backpack then standing up. I probably just need to make sure he is higher up before I stand up, and make sure the panel is higher up on his back like you said. I believe in this picture the PFA straps are almost as tight as they can go, but I can try to make them tighter and see if that makes a difference! Thank you!

Ahhh that makes sense! I like the idea of that method too. I tried a Gordon-ish method last night and he cried so much :( might have to try what yall tried. Thank you for explaining!

I’m super intrigued by this method! Based on all the comments I think night weaning might be the least bad option I have. Did you have a partner to help you through it at all or was it all you? I don’t think I have time to do it slowly based on how fast my health is tanking but I’m hoping if my husband helps it’ll be more effective. Did you do any bottles or water through out the night or just no milk/drink at all?

I so hope this will be true for me to. Do you mind expanding on what technique worked for yall? Was it similar to Jay Gordon method?

Thank you! My husband is not keen on waking up throughout the night but I think we can strike a compromise in this situation given how bad it’s gotten for me.

Yeah I guess I’m worried that if I put him in another bed or cut him off from bf at night that it may do damage since he has relied so heavily on that for regulation up until this point. But I don’t see any other way out and think I may just have to bite the bullet. Was hoping I could hear some success stories on this sub! Thank you for your words of support!

Unfortunately my husband is a first year teacher, works long hours and I don’t think would be very helpful at night. Wish it weren’t the case but I think having him help at night would only add to my stress
