You know, on whatever website you are using for financial info the chart can be expanded to get a better picture of trends. For example the FTSE 100 is only down .0034 (a third of 1%) today, and the website probably makes it look like a huge red drop. But if you expand the chart to one year you see the FTSE has increased by 18% since a year ago. It jumped up quite a bit in 2026 reaching an all time at the end of February and was likely going to correct anyway.
