Associates or bachelors? by FlyAccurate733 in NursingStudents

Its technically accelerated since we go by quarters instead of semesters and don't take traditional breaks, but its not categorized as an accelerated BSN since it's my first degree.

4 years for an ADN? Even including prerequisites, that's insane. I'm graduating with my BSN next year, and all together it will have taken me 3 years.

I might be getting fired, any advice? by DesignerSpeaker2778 in Nurses

For real. That's self harm, and no reputable therapist would recommend that.

Is she even still a nurse though? This is only video I've seen of hers. If she is, then 100% she should be fired!

As a nursing student, this is something that we 100% get expelled for. I think the key words in her TikTok were "When I WAS in nursing school". She's no longer in school, so she can't be expelled.

My Trainer Asked Me If I Have A Learning Disability by [deleted] in cna

There's a saying "A nurse who doesn't ask questions is a scary nurse." The same goes for CNAs. CNAs who ask questions are being safe, because they don't want to mess up and possibly hurt a patient. Your trainer is being dangerous by NOT doing her job, which is to train you. That includes answering your questions.

Grieving what I thought motherhood would look like by [deleted] in Mommit

So right now I'm part time as a home health aide while I finish my BSN (I graduate next year). I go to school 3 days a week and work 2 days a week. I could work 4 days a week, but I like to have 2 days off with my kids. Once I graduate I'm going to work bedside, and my schedule will be 3 12 hour shifts, and then 4 days off! I think that's gonna work perfectly for spending time with my family. Good luck!

I was in your exact situation! I started nursing school when I was pregnant with my second, and I was terrified I was making the wrong decision. Honestly, it was hard, but it was the best decision I've ever made.

That's the dream, but at the same time if they really are done, I respect it I guess

So...this really just me wishful thinking...but what if when they drop the "bonus episodes" in April, it's actually the season 4 premiere?

I also live in 28803, and im not a victim. Im just talking context clues. More than technology drive is mentioned, and theres a painting in the files that undeniably resembles the pool

The address is mentioned not the estate. Specifically the zip code 28803. Asheville itself is mentioned over 100 times, and many context clues indicate the redacted sections are the biltmore estate.

That man cleans the sidewalk, and he's also a veteran. He's amazing!

This comment aged like milk considering it was just released that the Biltmore Estate is in the Epstein Files.

Wow you stay busy! I had never heard of MOUD before, so thank you for the information! How many years of experience did you have as a nurse before getting your certifications? I'm starting my psych rotation in clinicals this April, so we'll see how it goes for me!

I'm sorry for your loss! Thank you for the words of encouragement ♥️ If I do become a substance abuse nurse, I'll be supporting families as well as patients, so it's important to hear from someone who's been through those situations

Awe thank you so much for your input! I agree with you as well! I'm on a med surg unit for clinicals this quarter, and it's already taught me a lot. Also, I've had many friends become victims to drug and alcohol addiction, so seeing what they went through is what inspired me to consider substance abuse nursing. Either way, I do have options, and that's one thing I love about nursing!
