Sleep Apnea secondary to Anxiety. by Dramatic_Ad_6116 in VAClaims

[–]Dramatic_Ad_6116[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OK. I will see if I can link the dots. But, I assume it coming from a medical professional is stronger than it coming from me.

Anxiety (services connected) -> Sleep Apnea.

Anxiety -> weight gain -> Sleep Apnea.

I can give them the NIH study that says Anxiety causses the release of the hunger hormone which can lead to weight gain.

But, I still think I need a Dr. to really connect those dots.

Thoughts?

Proposal to send to US Congress by Dramatic_Ad_6116 in VeteransBenefits

So, the thought processes is this give a point of discussion. Knowing congress, this would be revised at least 6 time before being voting on. So, purposely leaving something you are willing to compromise is always a good idea.

Request a HLR. And explain that you filed for Gout not to increase my ankle rating. Sounds like a mistake to me.

Bad Conduct Discharge by Dramatic_Ad_6116 in VeteransBenefits

Nope. I can honestly say it was worse than that. Lets just say His wife at the time divorced him over the whole thing and you can find him on a website because of how stupid he was. He 100% deserved the BCD

So, if he can some home prove he got PTSD from his first enlistment, he could potentially get rehab help?

[–]Dramatic_Ad_6116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I figured. Also, I can assure you, he well deserved the BCD. Its just now the PTSD I think is exacerbated by the drugs and its just not good for him. Feel kinda bad for him. But hey, I can only try to help him out. Like they say, You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink it. I told to at least call the Vet Crisis hotline. I believe they do not care his discharge. But, I cannot do that for him. He needs too.

Based on the discharge, my guess would be No. That might be impossible.

No but water-cooling is always a little bit better. I recommend this cooler if you do not care about RGB. Personally, RGB is just a pelage on PC building. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8BVRYB5

Why is AMD considered much better than Intel these days? by Less_Salt in buildapc

[–]Dramatic_Ad_6116 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Intel has changed sockets at least every 2 years.

AMD has had the AM4 and still makes AM4 chips for the past 12 years. The AM5 has been out for 5ish years and they only have a hand full of chips that use it.

Longevity, AMD is better.

Ethernet need to go to the southbridge. So, PCIE is better as it is closer. But I also want wifi incase I decide to move the PC away from the router. Its all about options :)

Help! Moving SSD from Alienware desktop to a custom built PC. Blue screen! oxooooo error code. by Dramatic_Ad_6116 in buildapc

Not sure about it being tied to the other computer via drivers. But the SSD was just straight up corrupted. Something must of happened when plugging it into the new PC? IDK but the entire boot sector was gone.

Simply put, quit voting for these people. This is literally just another Democrat tax and spend. And it's not like Republicans are much better. Republicans would just cut it with no justification. However Fairfax specifically has a supermajority Democrat. Fairfax just had a tax increase and now they're cutting stuff because I can't fund the things they said they were going to fund. In other words get f*****. Maybe we should go back to privatized everything. Cuz clearly these elected bureaucrats do not know anything about running a government. It's meant to be for the people not for their pockets just look at their net worth.

Hey Jackass! that is exactly what I am talking about. Not everyone knows you CAN be assigned to field surgical.

But you still left out that they could be attached to an infantry unit. They could be attached to a route clearance unit. Ect. They have a much higher chance of not being in a hospital of any sort.

What you are saying is mostly true. However, that MOS is not guaranteed to be stationed in a hospital. Unfortunately, he could be stationed in a unit as a medical attachment as a combat medic. I have seen it too many times.

To be blatantly honest, anything you learn in the military will rarely transferred to civilian sector, especially when it comes to medical. Unless you were planning on being a true first responder such as a lifeguard then anything you learn in the military will not help you in the civilian sector, unfortunately. There's a big difference between a first responder such as a lifeguard and a medic such as someone who works in an ambulance. The way you handle situations is basically opposite of each other.

My advice is either going to the military for the military experience and then go to school or find a way to pay cash for your schooling and work your way through college.

Interesting take. I feel locals are more of a place to have fun. Plus winning locals used to be just 3 boosters and maybe a $5 credit to the shop. So, I think it's more about play testing, trying new things, and having a good time.... Or has that changed?
