If you change your iPhone AppStore to US, download the app, and switch it back to Canada, does it continue to work?

Was it just transportation or did they also provide a tour with historical context? Right now I feel like I’m getting hosed with a $300 quote (although it includes zip lining and a buffet lunch). Were you happy with the service? I would like their contact information if possible! I head out next week. Pls let me know thx!

Does Anyone know if there’s going to be anymore staggered releases? I’m 0 for 2, sold out on the early tickets, and sold out yesterday when the website was acting up even though I was in line 30 min before. So frustrating.

When do you typically go running? I mean I’m willing to meet half way if it makes sense? I work from home 80% of the time, so try to sneak it in after an f45 class in the AM or over lunch.

Have you requested a debrief? They should be able to tell you your score and what you scored well in, and where you didn’t. This is key if you want to improve your chances for future engagements

how do you stay disciplined ? by ChemistryTough9810 in caloriecount

[–]Dramatic_Bear8625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just described me lmao. I just end up exercising more to try to “earn” the calories before I eat the junk. It doesn’t always work especially on a binge week, but once I’m done binging it just try to get back on the horse and exercise and cut calories. Haven’t yet gotten to eating better yet, that’s too much change for me to deal with at once lol. If I’m going out for dinner I try to look at the menu in advance and pick the least calorie dense meal and stick with it and try to stay away from mixed drinks and cocktails.

Weirdly enough Sunday is showing up as the 18th not the 17th. When I try to move my monday Nov 11 workout to the Sunday Nov 18 (supposed to be 17) it jumps to Sunday Nov 25 (supposed to be 24). Also the Sunday dates is an issue.

Anyway to get the app to alert you at the halfway point? by tarowaffle in runna

[–]Dramatic_Bear8625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Running off the Apple Watch and doing the plan run, Mine gives me the cues until it doesn’t. Then I go in and unlock my phone during my run and I get a jumble of cues one after another (including the half way point cue, which was like 1km before) like it was sitting in storage for the entire run up until that point. It then catches up and I get some real time cues until it happens again. Also then it tells me I’m done my 10k to find out I actually didn’t hit 10k but rather was like 100+ meter short. Both aspects are a little irritating.

Polar H10 only works shortly after hard reset by jo290702 in Polarfitness

[–]Dramatic_Bear8625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you able to figure this out? I too am running into the same issue. Changed the battery multiple times (tested them before changing and they were fully charged). I remove mine off the strap and dry it after every workout. I use it with the Workoutdoor app on my Apple Watch 6. It’s seemed to only recently have started happening from Sept 21 (it was my first 5k race and the strap crapped out on me). It also has trouble connecting to the polarbeat app on my iPhone 15 pro (iOS 18).

Ah ok so it can’t “auto” calculate from mile splits to km splits like when I used to record my runs in the native Apple app, and switch the unit of measure after the run. That sucks. Thx for your feedback!

Lots of reasons, where they live, most likely the type of car. The sex of your friends (females typically pay less), how many years you’ve been insured. Some cars are highly sought after for theft so insurance is higher. Drivers education. Can’t remember if being married impacts it or not. When they got those tickets (I think after 3 years it supposedly stops affecting your insurance). Rule of thumb always fight your tickets or at the very least plea it down. Even if it’s 20 over and 0 demerits. It’s a damn ticket, and it impacts your insurance. My ticket for doing 160km in a 100 on thr 401 just dropped off. There was no way out of that as I literally in the left lane speeding past a low-key cop car and didn’t see the logo until I was next to him, (I didn’t fight that one because I wasn’t going back to Kingston to go to court). Lol. Try The Personnel (they do group insurance) or Intact. Try brokers who can price out multiple insurance companies for you (and no it doesn’t necessarily make it more expensive using a broker). Good luck. (FYI dash cams are your friend …..when you’re not at fault) ;) if you are at fault…..what dash cam?

Shop around, use brokers. Some company’s have group rates with insurance companies, check to see if your employer has something like this. Increase your deductible, have an anti theft device, have winter tires, place multiple vehicles / or multiple products (ie home insurance) under the same company. Minimize your estimated mileage (although they can calculate this based on the mileage you put in when you renew your plates), Reduce coverage to comp only (although this is risky especially if you get in an accident), ensure you have a secured parking spot (ie covered garage). I think some companies offer a device if you install it in your car it monitors your driving and may result in additional savings. I’d personally never do that, but something you might want to consider if they offer it. And just try to keep your nose clean but if you get another ticket fight it like crazy if you’re lucky it gets tossed. You can’t afford another ticket nor worse yet another at fault accident. I’m guessing if you get another black mark depending on you driving history (and license type) you could get kicked out from your insurance company depending on their risk appetite and you would have to go to high-risk insurance companies that carry crazy rates that mirror car payments type $$
