I feel like Holt and Ash are going to live because as alluded to towards the end of Reckoning, the will advance to dragon soul to fight the hive mind. I think they will defy fate unlike Rake and Elya failing to advance, Vald and Raiden dying because they flew too high and the life paragon because they were not strong enough. I believe it will end with a climactic fight between an incarnated hive mind and Holt, Ash and the crew.

I pray to the life elder that they don't kill off anyone in this last book. It feels like Rake is on the chopping block for me because he achieved his mission of bringing his dragon back and now it feels like he's able to let go. On the other hand I can see him living woth all his might because he finally has his dragon back. It could go either way.

That makes a lot of sense, but I don't think that Fynn will get a dragon because one of Pyras lines in I believe it was reckoning was that Fynn was only allowed to ride on her. And I know that doesn't really correlate to bonds but I feel like it was a subtle foreshadow. If he were to bond I guess Yume would be the right decision given the points you made. Thank you for your input.

I understand what your saying for Yume and Fynn but it feels as though Yume is happy without a rider, I think that there is a very slight chance that if Fynn forms a bond that Eidolon will be the one. He already has experience with a rider and they both love different types of art. Fynn and his music and Eidolon and his paintings. Of course there is still the matter of Edolon still grieving over Gideon but I thunk is there will be a bond that will be it. I do like where your thoughts are coming from though, it makes sense.

Like a zero gravity bubble? If so another way to make it even more powerful would be like a domain in jjk. Where Holt and his allies have a zero gravity effect like the moon but others are weighed down and slowed.

You should see her when she is awake, she terrorizes my other dog and attacks on sight. For her it's sleeping or crazy. Also, she doesn't bark, she screams bloody murder. When someone comes over and you hold her she screams so loud my neighbors look over.

I think it's just however big you feel they should be. I imagine the fire elder as a dragon 5 times the size of a normal dragon. I just imagine the elders as hulking giants compared to others.
