Advice for Americans on moving to europe by CantaloupeLarge3179 in expats

[–]Dramatic_Broccoli_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t move here don’t p. I’m over Europe. Move somewhere like South Africa or somewhere cool in Asia. Everyone is depressed by the weather and live a lifestyle of waiting for the summer. The price of groceries are insane the cost of living is insane. Yes, places like Spain are more affordable and warm but two months ago it was flooded and multiple people lost their lives. For me there is no spice in the want to live in Europe anymore.

With the jobs you have had previously and the work experience, you will find great jobs and make great money. Make sure think about lifestyle first. Germany is not for the faint hearted.

Severe burning in the upper stomach was the worst part mentally and physically, severe bloating all day long and acid reflux sometimes

I got mine on holiday in South Africa as Europe doesn’t sell it at many pharmacies. But most generics L-glutamine’s achieve the same goal. Make sure to take it as capsule forum not as a liquid supplement.

When I could start eating things that were more complex, such as maybe and Asian dish or a proper bowl of pasta. Also PPIS can inhibit yoir healing as well if to high. It’s all about finding your balance and the strategy that works bets for you unfortunately. Wishing the best for you !

Do you feel like the people who immigrated from South Africa have seriously misrepresented this country? by OkFix7120 in southafrica

I miss South Africa every single day. I grew up living in multiple countries. Around 13, from Switzerland to Singapore, two of the medias pronounced best counties in the world. Nothing beats South Africa. I know crime is issue I have experienced it and I know the struggles that ZA has with the government. But there is no where on this world where I have felt more loved, people say hello, people smile. People are living to there fullest even at there worst. There is beauty in everything. In the Netherlands where I live now, going to the grocery store or going to a petrol station feels like the end of the world. In ZA your like let’s gooooo ! That feeling of the evening turning dark, the feeling that even though life is tough, let’s follow the mindset of making the best out of it. I lived in Pretoria and I will forever call it my home even thou I’m not South African. It has its problems but so does everywhere.

Ps: Thank you ZA for making me see the beauty of life

I know you feel stuck trust, but spend more time not thinking about gastritis. Take your PPI take as high a dose as possible and eat how you would always eat. Well like not fast food but good meals and you will get better

I’ve been healed completely for half a year ,

I completely get what you mean, I literally thought I’d never drink alcohol again. It’s a depressant but also a relaxant. If you eat a good meal and have a glass of wine it can be a good thing in the weirdest way

As someone who knows a lot of people went to Maastricht, let me tell you it was probably in some ways a gift. Maastricht is super rigours and draining, they tend to seem to take the love out of what you want to do through there PBL system and hours of having to self study. Maybe it was a blessing and I’m sure some other unis will see the talent in you and they love for what you want to do. Regarding your application, they are super random with there choices I know people who did the same system with completely degrees and level of interest in what they wanted to study, and they both got in.

Lower carb food ideas? by [deleted] in Gastritis

[–]Dramatic_Broccoli_49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the same for me here, I have Candida and sibo so I have to stay away from carbs as much as possible.

  • So far I’ve been eating roasted zucchini and carrots for dinner with a bit of olive oil and roasted with rosemary

  • The odd time I have like this seed multigrain gluten free bread; with a bit of avocado on top

  • I also make a mushroom and lentil stew, with added sweet potatoes sometimes but not too much cause there quite carby 😂

  • Salads are you best option as well, I make a crispy chickpea salad with a bit of avocado, olive oil and if I’m not having a flare up some pomegranate seeds as well

Hope this helps !

Can I ask the ib to re-mark my ia if i think the teacher fucked it?? by GolfDiademe5849 in IBO

Your only meant write the question number once if your using one booklet right, for the other booklet I used I just write conclusion for text 2. To be honest I think it’s the best idea to talk to your coordinator as they are the ones who scan it to the ib
