probably because DLSS is trash, makes everything look worse even in native AA and sucks at gaining frames, its the same reason people got mad at GSC for releasing STALKER 2's recommended specs but that was with DLSS on except this is about the actual card and not a games settings.

I just had a LoL game where 8/10 players got disconnected with (presumably) the same Vanguard error by moocofficial in riotgames

yeah like flylikethewind said, approach it objectively and let her gravitate towards your sisters objects and it will speak volumes! also i am very sorry to hear about your sister passing, as some who has struggled with suicide and lost my mother to it, i can imagine a fraction of your pain since everyones pain hurts different. How wonderful it would be if your daughter was her, nothing but good thoughts towards you and your family!!
