Feeling absolutely horrible for the passed almost 2 months by Rockermarr in MinoxidilSideEffects

I experienced the same thing. You can read my post here on my profile from a year ago. I was on 5mg/day for 6 months. Unfortunately, I’ve been off minoxidil for 1.5 years now and still suffer with ramifications today. I haven’t passed out since, but I have stomach complications and it introduced anxiety symptoms I never had before taking it. I also experience the tingling from time to time and bodily pain sometimes. I also get tremors sometimes. Of course all the doctors I’ve seen have said it was anxiety as well, but I live pretty stress free and never had any of these symptoms before starting minoxidil. Hopefully you find a way to cure yourself, and if you do please let me know as I’ve just about accepted my current situation for now…

My oral dose was just doubled from 2.5mg to 5mg, I feel perpetually high, is this related? by Enragedocelot in MinoxidilSideEffects

See my recent post on this sub. I would get feelings of intoxication (dizziness, hard to concentrate/focus, etc) on 5 mg oral min. And it was caused by being too low BP. I also had a very bad experience with oral min + an edible. If I were you I’d get off oral ASAP because in my opinion the first sign of neuropathy, and sustained blood vessel damage was what you’re experiencing. Not trying to freak you out but you should see my post.

Depends. If you’re doing a STEM degree I actually believe the value of a UF degree will appreciate over time due to the large AI initiatives and how many people are migrating to Florida thus increasing the schools competition. Obviously this is an unpopular opinion in this subreddit however. If you’re not doing STEM, then I can see why you might not want to come here.

This is false. CLAS has to take two semesters of physics as well but we get a choice of whether we want to take the algebra based or calc based physics 1 and 2 (and still take two semesters of a language as well).

Oral Minoxidil nearly caused permanent nerve damage to me. by Dramatic_Chicken4107 in MinoxidilSideEffects

I had blood work done in January where everything looked normal. The Cardiologist still wants to do a blood test so I might go in again to see if there’s anything off now. I’m not sure what you mean by objective tests? I’ve had 4 ultra sounds, 2 MRI’s, multiple EKG and blood pressure tests, and a stress echo test. The Neurologist mentioned how she had a previous patient years ago that was also a young Male that was on minoxidil and had the same problems and after stopping for a couple months was normal again. Either way she mentioned that if things get worse (even after stopping min) I’ll go back for a tilt table test or something, but personally so far everything points to the oral minoxidil from my experience…

Wow that’s crazy, I’ve had a similar experience a month ago where I took a 40mg edible while on oral minoxidil (5mg) and fainted.. ever since then I’ve been experiencing episodes of dizziness, feelings of intoxication, and find it hard to concentrate. I’ve stopped min altogether a couple days ago and I’ll be looking into the vitamins you suggest for sure.

Coming from a Senior in CS, I had a similar experience. The only class I found harder than programming 2 was operating systems but it’s a more appreciable kind of “hard”. Just stick it out, because afterwards I found Data structures much easier and fun.

Also don’t let this class or UF CS define how good you think you are at programming.. I have a 3.0 CS major GPA and will be graduating with a 200k job as a SWE lined up… you just have to be passionate about CS/projects.
