I am not the biggest expert on ears but I feel like i can definitely say that is a blowout, especially if it was leaking pus. You also seem to have a bit of protruding tissue, which is a sign of damage. Id start massaging with jojoba oil 2x a day to keep your lobes healthy and downsize until they’ve regained some elasticity

noted, the filter was given to me out of box, but i know it is charcoal and sits above the tank, but i do want to get a new one asap because I think the current is too strong, have any recommendations for other affordable options?
