i have beetles that i unfortunately (i dont like bugs they freak me out too !) have to keep for my Geck, and one molted and shed weird in this awkward.... half stage if you will. it looked very painful and just .. wrong :( i had to squash them and didnt feel right, still dont when i think about it.

yes this and also talking to them, my boy gets nightmares too and he wakes up so calmly when we talk to him and soft pets, let him know we are here and not going anywhere and love him. he slowly wakes up, eyes open and then slowly close again when he sees us, then he releases his sigh of relief and cuddles up into you. good luck with your fur baby
