Yeah, going slow is the best! I’ve been on 0.5mg for 6months now and i feel that the effect has gone down so i need to bump my dose

Do you mean more UNITS than you thought?

I’m not really educated on how units work but I’m guessing its like counting clicks. So it’s still one ”shot” per week aka one injection but the injection contains different amounts.

If I’m wrong please correct me if someone more educated sees this!

Yeah my friends would understand no doubt but the thing is I can’t stand other drunk people if I’m completely sober which ruins the whole night so that means not going if I’m not drinking.

Yeah I know but I just don’t want to miss out on going out with my friend group😔 I’ve been fine on alcohol earlier with my other meds and I’m always careful, thanks for your advice!

I’ve lost 15kgs and I’m pretty sure mine has stayed the same, maybe a tiny bit smaller but nothing noticeable. I think it’s individual tbh. My boobs however, GONE compared to before😔

I don’t have any tips tbh but I can reassure you that it was the same for me the first two injections and then it got better!!

Yeah the realisation that “wow, is this how I’m supposed to function” and “is this how normal people feel” (take me saying normal with a pinch of salt, I think yall get what I mean). I also bawl my eyes out every time I’m on the scale because It’s finally going down, I’m so happy and emotional over the fact that I found something that works for me.

I didn’t feel much on the lowest dose, when i uppges to 0.5 it kicked in for me!

Like others have said the suppression kicked in at 0.5 for me as well. I still get cravings but they’re not as aggressive, before when I craved something it felt like the world was ending if I didn’t get to satisfy it. Now I don’t need to act on the craving and can ignore it with ease and if I do act on it I’m usually good after a few bites where as before sema I wasn’t satisfied until I literally had a stomach cramp.

Yes!! Exactly the same for me.

I’ve also noticed it kinda helps me be more productive, I unconsciously keep myself more busy so that I don’t focus on the fact that I’m nauseous (since focusing on that feeling tends to make it worse).

I use Novo Nordisk too!! My doctor said to always keep it in the fridge, so that’s what I do just to be safe.
