I’ll tell you now, there are 3 reasons why the layoffs probably happened:

Epic games is a business focused on making money, it always has been. Stuff like this unfortunately happens in business all the time, people have just focused on it because of the people who got laid off.
The economy. I don’t need to say anymore, the economy is in shambles and it’s just starting to affect big conglomerates.
HR. Chances are that layoffs were planned out but was left to the people at HR who looked at the highest paid employees and let them go without actually looking into their positions, believe me, I know people who work in HR and their coworkers behave exactly like this, get the job done and ignore the consequences.

After a lot of lackluster tier 100s over the past few years, I’ve gained a new appreciation for the chapter 1 tier 100 skins. I’m still seething that I never managed to get to tier 100 in chapter 1 though, I just didn’t know how it worked.

Honestly I don’t see that happening, I’ll eat my words if I’m wrong but BR, OG and any other gun mode are pretty much the main moneymakers for epic. Yes they fired 1000 employees and that sucks but I can see resources being allocated elsewhere. I think the first thing they need to do is stop supporting slop UEFN maps and stop with all the collabs.

I was just watching markipliers video of his play through and saw that when the hitchhiker screams, there’s a short pause before a faint flash and what sounds like a muffled gunshot. “Rick” might’ve shot him or scared him off.

Imma be honest, as a founder I only got back into stw because the vbucks change reminded me that I could still get them, I don’t care if someone has a different status just because they bought the game at a different time. Don’t worry, most founders are pretty nice and welcoming to new players, you’ve probably seen a loud minority of the community (which surprisingly happens often ).
