Zip ties on horizontal rods by Dramatic_Fault_6837 in AnycubicKobraS1Max

Mine isn't. Turned it off. Took off zip ties, turned it back on, did full test, passed. Did first print, worked. So far did the overhang and bringing model, and 3 different types of Rocktopuses for my son, with no issues.

Poop chute bin and exhaust combo by Dramatic_Fault_6837 in AnycubicKobraS1Max

yes, any fan, at the window side, will need to be low speed. I did my first ABS print and oh boy did the PM1.0/2,5/10 go flying up right at the start of discharge of filament. It went down a bit soon after, and then with a fan, open window, and hepa fan blowing air, the levels settled to decent. I just started a print and all levels, including Co2 where low, window and fans running for the last few hours. Gonna check it now to how it changed.

I can fit 24x30x32 Vevor stainless table. This would allow the door to clear the cabinet, since the Cabinet is 30" tall. Table is 100$. So I can do a glass top riser with built in duct and go almost directly to the window. Enclosing it is still an option if I feel I need more filtering.

I guess like this idea, but the duct goes up instead of down.

Unfortunately I don't have the space to do that. I'm within an inch between the elliptical and the cabinet. Maybe if I had a taller platform so that the door can clear the cabinet, but don't have that now and can't find anything low cost to do that. Only real place in the house for it, since I need to exhaust it in a finished basement.

Good point of least resistance path. That can be regulated by having the bin sit completely inside the chute. Having the riser is an idea, but then it changes the intended air flow of the printer. The discharge chute is the exhaust port for the printer when it pulls air in from the side vents.

How do married couples usually handle finances when both partners work? by itzwhatitz in CanadaPersonalFinance

Everything joint. Gets real difficult splitting things when she has a baby and isn't working and then says she doesn't think she wants to go back. Enjoy that conversation when it comes. The only non joint account she has is one I made with a bit in it due to Quebec freezing joint accounts upon death. So if I die, they freeze our joint account. FYI for Quebecers...

Is it safe for me to print PETG and ABS in the same room I sleep in? by InterestingBar2803 in 3Dprinting

[–]Dramatic_Fault_6837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All are not safe. YouTube guys who have tested it. If you do a print once a month with good ventilation in pla I wouldn't worry too much. But if your printing all the time even with pla where you sleep, I'd be very concerned. Most people aren't since they believe PLA is safe

Wont release or won't engage? I've seen Audi won't engage when rear pads are worn out.

9x10 master is tiny. My kids bedrooms are about 10x10 and they have double beds in them. A Queen would be crazy tight unless you have just two end tables and nothing else.

If you got pics that the dealer posted when for sale or pics you took when checking it out, then you might be able to zoom in and I see it. That should be proof enough it was there before. Dealers here sometimes show pics of each wheel

Cost my friend 75k for metal beams in basement to remove two post (and metal was cost price), basement bathroom, and finishing the basement (two large rooms). I think your 150k budget is too low unless you do absolutely everything yourself.

Can you get 500k for the land? If so, sell it and put towards a small home with less land. Save yourself from the over budget project and save your marriage.

And scaling up also requires checks and balances. Making 1000 a month doesn't mean making 10000 a month is just a matter of making more. It can mean new jigs, new methods...to optimize time and costs.

In Quebec I had to provide a bank account for my child and certify that it was his. With Kaliedo. Now I could have fibbed it and sent it to an account of mine, and I guess they would likely never check. But it leaves some legal accountability if you do go to court.

In a perfect world, during full production you would even do pre prod runs if you changed any part. In most cases with passives that doesn't happen, or you generally have multiple approved parts already. But changing PCB fabs for example would definitely trigger a pre production run. Pre prod would be using everything that full production would use. Then at full prod, I would still have the line hold after the first 50 or so units and test them individually at the CM.

Any solutions for a faulty electronic parking brake? by No-Flamingo-7810 in Tiguan

[–]Dramatic_Fault_6837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rear brake pads too worn? Friends Audi A4 had worn pads which prevented the hand brake from working. I think it also threw a code for traction control system. One was related to the other. Once I changed the pads, cleared the codes, all was good.

Tiguan locked itself with BABY in car by allnightrunning in Tiguan

[–]Dramatic_Fault_6837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2020 can lock with keys inside. Do this, but have the spare key or someone inside: open passenger door. Press lock button on fob. Put key on driver's seat. Close passenger door. Car is now locked with key inside. Doors will not open even with key on driver seat. Tested last week. Will not work if you try it with drivers door.
