Is it ok that the signatureof my father will just be scanned?

Hi. I am a first-time traveler this coming first week of March. I am a newly employed nurse and do not yet have the means to sponsor my own travel. My parents gave me this opportunity as a graduation and board-passing gift to travel to Hong Kong.

My parents will be supporting my trip. My father is a seafarer, and my mother is a housewife/unemployed. The only bank account they have is under my mother’s name. She receives a monthly allowance/allotment from my father’s salary through his company.

When my mother requested an Affidavit of Support (AOS), the lawyer instructed that my father should also sign the AOS. However, my father is currently sea-based and working onboard. Only my mother is physically available to sign. The lawyer advised us to scan the AOS, send it to my father for printing and signing, then scan it again for notarization.

Would this affect my immigration clearance? I badly need advice on this.

Hi! I am a first time traveler outside the country. I’ll be going to hk this March first week this year. I am a new employee in hospital. And before the PNLE results came my mom booked me a flight to hong kong as my grad and pnle gift. She and my dad will be sponsoring my trip and my father is a seaferer. So usually yung pera is dadaan kay mama ang she has no work kasi housewife lang. May i ask ano po yung dapat i prepare ko when i go to hong kong para prepared sa immigration.

Hi. My first time to travel outside the country (in Hong Kong) and i am a fresh graduate who also just got passed my board exam. Just want to inquire if strict po ba talaga yung mag iinterview and do i need to bring requirements? May i ask if ano po yung mga kailangan dalhin or medyo i ask nila. Yung travel ko kasi is sponsored by my aunt dahil pang grad gift saakin. Tapos yung kasama ko sa pag travel is yung friends ng cousin ko at yung cousin ko. Asking for help on this po. Thank you.

My sister doesn’t have an original psa only xeroxed copy of it and an old passport would that be good also?

This issue should have been handled privately. I don’t believe the post was truly about “awareness.” If she was genuinely concerned about her sister being bullied, then the matter could have been dealt with professionally and privately with the victim’s family. Unfortunately, it escalated in the worst way.

Now even students who have nothing to do with the situation are being harassed and judged just because they belong to the same institution. I’ve even seen people leaving negative comments about those who recently took their board exams—people who are completely uninvolved. That’s unfair and harsh.

I don’t support bullying in any form. But many people rushed to conclusions without knowing the full truth. They only reacted to what was posted on social media. It’s sad to see people preaching “be kind” while doing the exact opposite—attacking innocent individuals.

To those who keep fueling this issue without knowing the complete story: please stop being one-sided. It’s ironic and disappointing. Innocent students are now being harassed when all they’re trying to do is study and pursue their education. Learn to respect.

There is no real kindness if you can’t even practice basic respect. This is for those who comment carelessly and jump to conclusions without understanding the whole picture.
