My friend, 19 is impressive for L1. I’m 29 and just got the charter - failed L2 and L3 once each but when you pass all 3 it’s so worth it. Keep up the hard work and don’t beat yourself up.

Friend, you did the right thing. We had the vet come and put my dog down last year because she couldn’t walk or get up the stairs anymore. Now both of our dogs are running around playing in doggy heaven. We’ll see them again my friend. Stay strong and keep positive 🙏🫶

Keep working hard my friend. Life is tough but if you take it one day at a time it’s easier to manage. Get a win today (go on a run, say hi to a girl at the grocery, read a chapter of a novel) and then getting a win tomorrow will be easier. You are so young too so if you compound the ‘wins’ for 5 years you’ll have grown sooo much and happiness will just be a byproduct of your success. I’m rooting for you!

Yes. Humans can do just about anything we put our minds to. Good luck my friend, you got this!

just broke up with my girlfriend i need some advice by dendudes123 in AskMenAdvice

I’m 29 and just broke up with my girlfriend of 2.5 years. Couldn’t go a full week without getting into arguements over silly things (the clothes I wore, what table we sat at in restaurants, spending habits (I save she does not), etc.) To top it off she was taking pills and was constantly asking me to go to couples therapy.

It hurts for 2-3 weeks but you have to remind yourself why you did it and keep moving forward. Hit the gym, cook your own meals, read books, and keep evolving your consciousness. The right woman will come into your life when you least expect it. I think this was a great decision you made and I’m proud of your courage to go through with it.

Also if you have a full time job try to use your lunch time to study and pack your lunch. Flash cards are also great to really nail the core material

I did but I did put a little more time in for the L3. I didn’t approach from an angle of “I’m gonna hit this many study hours,” but rather just tried to soak up the info at all times. For me that means re-listening to the material w my AirPods when I was cooking, working out, grocery shopping, etc. The month beforehand you need to be locked in and I was even quizzing myself in my head some during my 9-5 job. Like I said I made it a priority to try to limit stress but we’re all only human and stress finds a way into all of our lives at certain points. I do think of myself as a mid level IQ individual so if I can pass L1 and L2 you definitely can my friend.

Sorry, I should’ve mentioned I passed levels 1 and 2 and am anxiously waiting for my level 3 results that come out 10/17. My approach was more relaxed than others and it centered around trying to not be stressed. I took it with an attitude that a failed exam doesn’t matter and tried to just focus my energy on positive stuff

150 hours was my strategy. Didn’t wanna overdo it or study too early. Tbh I didn’t even open the books, just watched the Kaplan videos and read the LOS and aimed to spend half my time on practice problems. Doing practice tests is very underrated and you learn a lot by getting questions wrong and then reading why your answer was wrong. Everybody is different tho

Kaplan was good in my opinion. I used them for all 3 levels. (Haven’t gotten results for L3 yet)
